Interesting. I was taught that racism and racial prejudice are two different things. For example white supremacists would be racists, but the common belief among Japanese people that blacks have natural rhythm would be racial prejudice.
Would you say that claiming that Asians have a different digestive capabilities than Caucasians is racist, even though scientific research has found this to be true?
Most of what I've seen would indicate that racial prejudice is merely a form of racism. This becomes particularly true when claiming a particular race are thieves or have children out of wedlock. A good example was Jimmy the Greek's comments about blacks being better as athletes, a form of racial prejudice, were considered racist remarks.
As for the scientific studies, it depends, and sometimes it will depend merely on the usage. To take it back to the definition previously given, it is considered racist if it is used to promote the superiority of one race (or to claim that one race is inferior). What makes it harder is that most of these traits are not actually based on racial traits but rather on lifestyle, tradition, etc.
What makes this even harder is that some legitimate studies are sometimes painted as racist because, while those conducting the research had noble goals, there are others that attempt to use the research for racist causes.
Well, only if one's answer happens to be a race. I could, theoretically, freely answer "Nazis" without being racist.
While the title of the OP said "groups", the actual choices were racial -- with the possible exception of Muslim. Even there, however, there is a common use of Muslim meaning Mid -Eastern race, and most on this thread have appeared to think that is what the OP meant in this case. As such, the OP appears to be asking which racial group is most racist.
