Which genre do you like writing in more?

fantasy, sci-fic, modern day..?

i think with some brainstorming we may be able to come up with a rpg that everyone can join in. What do you think?

I enjoy Fantasy. I think it would be cool if everybody joined in, but I notice that a lot of people drop out for extended periods of time on a lot of these threads.

Actually, Blessed-One, i was thinking about doing an RPG set in modern times but had a fantasy feel too it. The basic storyline is that the astral plane and phsyical planes merged toghether, so the spirits (demons, angels, other) have somehow acquired physical bodies and now are at war with each other. Most humans don't know about the secret war between the spirits, now phsyical beings. Something like that...

depends on the threads Flame. I find it that if the thread starter didn't post and if the direction of the thread was too vague, people just kind of cease posting.

sounds interesting onikirimaru.. um. so it's like angels and demons in physical forms? reminds me of 'charmed'..

Just think of like an Underworld kind of setting, but instead of lycans and vampires, its angels and demons. But also, there are other spirits walking around enjoying their new bodies. *shrug* just an idea.

I honestly enjoy present-day fantasy. As in a modern day setting with limited 'magical powers'. I dunno. Kind of hard to explain. *shrugs*

there could possibly be mutants in the setting of the RPG. Like, they could be the result of a faulty transition from spirit to physical. Like, a demon could appear slightly discolored because he didnt turn physical exactly right...or his body got skrewed up when he transformed. Something to that nature.

i haven't done a rpg in the modern setting for a long time. The last one i did was based on the left behind books on the LB forums.

probably... rpg based on games and shows seems to only interest people who have also played or seen it.

i've played TA but that was years ago that i can't even remember what it's about other than that it involves things like guns and tanks..
