I'm faced with a choice of all choices....

Which Sonic the Hedgehog game should I get?

My choices are Sonic the Hedgehog (PS3, XBOX360, PC), and Sonic and the Secret Rings (Wii).

I personally want to get StH, because the graphics are beautiful, and the gameplay seems far better than previous games. While it does seem a tad bit glitchy, it seems like all Sonic games have been glitchy as of late (I mean, even Sonic Adventure was glitchy...Don't be so tough, guys!), so what's a game without a few glitches? It's not like we're perfect. It does seem like a great game.

I kind of want Sonic and the Secret Rings, but I've heard the controls are jerky, and Sonic automatically runs through the level (you only steer him). Also, I've heard it's annoying when you miss something, and have to go back.

Obviously, I want StH on PC, seeing as how I don't have a 360 or PS3, but I want to know, honestly, and don't say 'get teh seecrt rngs bcz it s teh 00ber!!!11111oneone'

*sigh*

None of them, dude. Save your money.

The Sonic series has been going downhill since Sonic Adventure 2. If anything, go buy yourself a Genesis and enjoy the good ol' days of 2-D platforming.

I do hear, however, that "The Secret Rings" for the Wii is not a bad game. (More or less because the Wii is able to save some games from the clutches of mediocraty because of the innovative controlls)

Not to mention that I nearly cried when I played "Shadow the Hedghog". GET RID OF THE GUNS, GET RID OF THE CARS, AND GET RID OF THE GOOFY CHILD-LIKE PERSONAS OF THE CHARACTERS, and maybe we might see a good Sonic game again.

Besides, the first time I ever got a cramp playing video games was playing the last level of "Sonic and Knuckles" with Lock On "Sonic 3". I've never rocked that genesis controller so hard!
