Which do you use?

Do you use an online Bible? If so, which one do you use? What features does it have that you like?

Personally, I've been using the Blue Letter Bible (http://www.blueletterbible.com) because it has daily devotionals and helps with reading the Bible in a year. It uses the KJV of the Bible, which is okay, but I prefer NIV.

I have downloaded TNIV which I look at. I have Old KJV audio. I also have two great links:

don't use one. It's far easier for me to just grab my bible and find what I'm looking for. I'm not terribly computer savvy. Last online bible thingy I tried was way too confusing for me....

www.Biblegateway.com is awesome. You can see all sorts of different versions and languages. You can look up verses, or if you can't remember a verse, you can enter keywords and search for it. It's great.

I have that one too...but I thought my list was getting big...and I agree with you.

I used to use a concordance, now I use NIV online instead. But I read out of a NKJ or NIV bible.

I use www.biblegateway.com if I want to use NIV online, but otherwise I use the program from www.e-sword.com. Incredible program. If you don't have it, get it. I even have the Latin Vulgate on there and resources from Foxes Book of Matyrs and Works of Josephus. Oh, and theres the usual bible versions aswell

I don't use an online Bible generally. I use a program called SwordSearcher which has several versions of the Bible and several commentaries which i find invaluable when seeking the meaning of a verse or verses!

Me too, it's the perfect concordance. Nay, it's better than a concordance. For word studies and the like, it's easy to use in conjunction with http://bible.crosswalk.com.

I use a New Revised Standard Version for study, but also have a New King James Version at home. I also use biblegateway.com to compare passages in different versions.

I'd like to eventually add a NIV and KJV to my collection.

I have a 1790 King James , its written in old English but I'm use to it . If any of you need to check original translations or anything please pm me.. as I know with each decade a new edition comes out and Im afraid that the word is slowly being watered down and altered....

I like the king James bible also for a couple of reasons... The one you stated here is a good point...I also like to look at types and parallel concepts and find these to be powerful in the KJV while they are not nearly so apparent in other versions....Another thing about the KJV that I like is just the majesty of the language...Some of my favorite passages from the KJV just don't hold the same appeal to me in some other versions...I've used the NIV bible before too and find it to be very useful . .....Do you ever use a Strongs' concordance?? ...I would appreciate any feedback on this... Personally I'd rather see someone reading the bible in any version opossed to not reading one at all....Blessings JWA

I use BLB for all the resources they have. But when I find the verse I'm looking for, I go to Biblegateway to get the NIV version.

You gotta love search engines!

If I am doing something online reading something or what ever. I might look up a on line bible. but I don't ususally use them.

Yes, I do.
I have used a variety (including online audio Bibles). I have a lot of them bookmarked, and the Blue Letter Bible is one of them.
I mostly use them when discussing the Bible or matters of faith online. Offline, I have my own Bibles of course.
