I like facebook because it seems less "flashy" I guess. It was better when only students could join as it was people of your own age group. I feel like I have more privacy, because only people in my network can view my profile etc...

I have both, but I only use my myspace to keep in touch with people who don't have facebook, lol.

I have both...but I'm kind of never using facebook - just the German version of it called Studiverzeichnis

I'm on that site a lot cause I found most of my friends from school use it as well and I didn't have contact with any of them before I joined....but of course the German version is all German...so for my friends from other countries I do have a myspace site

I prefer myspace. While facebook (where I also have an account) is nice for communication with fellow college students it seems limited. Myspace has a huge numbers of groups that I'm active in for discussions (Christian groups, political groups, weight loss support groups, book groups to mention a few). Myspace also has a lot more members including family members of mine that have moved away to send messages and holiday graphics.

I have both. I use them both to communicate with people I've known or people I know now. I can't really pick which I like better. There are good things and bad things about both. But it's good to have both, because some people I know only have one or the other. Which is the same reason I use all the commonly used instant messaging things too.

personally i like facebook alot more...its just more organized than myspace and i think its much much easier to use!!!

Facebook is a lot cleaner, and it has better privacy and networking features. And spambots don't take over your friend's accounts.

I haven't had much trouble with the spam. The only way that could happen is if you clicked on something, or added something made by someone else on your myspace. Or if someone actually did get your password somehow... but I don't know about that one...
I could be wrong though.. just from my experiences that's what I've seen.

I prefer facebook because it looks more cleaner and organized. I use myspace to keep in touch with friends, and some of them don't have a facebook. Myspace seems to be bigger too, so more people to meet and communicate with and Myspace is awesome for music and promotion.

But facebook is simpler and has no dirty advertisements! Facebook seems to be trying add some clutter lately made by users such as the top 10 stuff. I really don't like that feature lol.

I've had both, but I got fed up with the spam on myspace and abandoned it awhile back. While myspace is more easily customizeable, and better for certain things (like blogging), I like Facebook better because of the privacy settings .

facebook. myspace has girls in bikini's for ads, not my type of site. The only i dont like about facebook is that u cant see someone's profile at all unless ur their friend or in a specific group with them (as fas as i have found so far).
