• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I like facebook because it seems less "flashy" I guess. It was better when only students could join as it was people of your own age group. I feel like I have more privacy, because only people in my network can view my profile etc...

I have both, but I only use my myspace to keep in touch with people who don't have facebook, lol.

yup, same here. ^_^

Definitely facebook - my browser's never frozen up because of an all-encompassing background, and I've never been messaged by strangers bearing links to sites with "pictures too racy for Myspace."
Speaking of which, here's my Facebook link:

I have facebook but not myspace. Not too fussed with it though but voted for it over myspace because it is the one I have. I'm not really one for talking to people from my past so maybe myspace would have been better, it seems to be set up more for the here and now...

Yesterday, I discovered that myspace had changed some of their privacy options. You can now require anyone wanting to send you a message to have to use CAPTCHA when messaging you, or you can opt to only allow friends to send you messages. I am happy about this. I wrote a complaint to myspace earlier this summer about not being able to control who sends messages to me.

Anyway, to check out the new privacy options, go to Account settings and click on the "spam" tab.
