You are not thinking rationally. Don't try to make something so simple complicated by arguments that are not based on common sense.

Matthew 13:13
Therefore speak I to them in parables: because
they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
BrightCandle: The word rational is to be examined as you said that I am not thinking rationally.
The word rational is synonymous with sensibly, realistically, brightly, and reason. To say one is
not thinking rationally is very close to saying one it thinking
foolishly.
It is very close to calling one a fool and the word fool is translated from the Hebrew (keciyl) meaning stupid or silly.
The SDA say that Saturday is the Sabbath, they have their worship service on Saturday.
Suppose two ships are in the water, one on the East side of the International Date Line the other boat on the West. The population of both of these ships are all SDA. It is Saturday on one side of the line and Sunday on the other. According to the teachings in this thread, which one of those groups will have their Sabbath on the correct day?
Regardless of which one, it then makes the other ship-load wrong as they will either not have a Sabbath at all or they will have it on the wrong day.
Now think rationally, BrightCandle. God did not command us to keep Saturday holy. The command to keep the Sabbath is not found in the N.T. The command to keep the Sabbath in the O.T. was not for a certain day and no certain day was named within the command.
Exodus 20:9 & 10
Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work...
(First we are commanded to work 6 days)
[10]
But the seventh day is the sabbath...
The seventh day after what?
Answer: The 7th day after working six days!
I forgive you for calling me a fool (indirectly).
2 Tim. 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
