I just need to talk, my baby and toddler have been up for 2 hours and it's the middle of the night and now I'm too worked up to sleep

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I hope you eventually were able to get some sleep. I was up most of the night last night too. Babies and toddlers are such precious little people...who ever came up with the saying 'sleep like a baby' never had a baby in their home. Haha. Drinking a peppermint tea and reading my bible sometimes helps me relax when I'm over tired which you probably were. Embrace those precious little ones...one day you may even miss these midnight visits.

Thank you so much, it's so nice to know we are not alone! Feeling much better in the morning, so hard to see things clearly when you're not fully awake!! I try to relax and think that it's bo big deal and most of the time it works but there are occasions where I wish I was wiser and more patient and just a better mum
