The Vaccines are coming out... albeit slowly.

But once enough of the population is vaccinated we can move more freely about and do whatever and go wherever.

Where are you wanting to go this next year?
What are you wanting to do that was restricted before?

I know that I want a haircut.
But then I was thinking about going charter fishing.
Tired of being trapped inside your country?
Well where are you wanting to go?
Whatcha gonna do when you get there?

This past year has pretty much wrecked my confidence in believing anything any government entity says about anything, ever. So... I'll believe we're "back to normal" and free to move about and all that, when it actually happens.

I can't really think of anywhere I want to go, specifically. I just want people to stop being hysterical idiots :)

What are "friends"? :p

If I had friends nearby, I might go visit them. Briefly. Introvert here :D
Introverts usually have a very small group that they are very open with... just saying.
My wife is one. I know what she says...but I also see what she does.

My current pool of friends is online. We share a passion for literature, writing, art, and gaming. Sadly, most of them live in Europe :D

Be sure to check out the WWII museum as well as some Jazz Music.

Mamma's is still serving huge portions for cheap and her bread pudding is still available...it's not the best but it's not bad either.

Hmmm I’m not much for war museums but will certainly be looking for indoor activities in the middle of the day. Where is Mammas?

It isn't what you are thinking.
It's a war to connect personally with regular people who lived during that time period.

It's a-political. It doesn't create heroes out of anyone. It very much puts you in touch with the horrors and reality of war. The gadgets they used...the equipment they carried and what they personally experienced and thought. It's one of the better things to do in New Orleans that isn't self indulgence.

And for Mamma's...just grab a taxi. They are easier to get away from the airport. It's not far.

Thanks! I found Mamas, looks like it’s up in Metairie.

We just took a cab...we stayed in a hotel near the convention center. Embassy suites or Hyatt...I remember that for happy hour it was a free open bar with a few munchies.
Emeril's was across the street too.

We could walk to the waterfront mall...and did cruise it. Ate those funky square/diamond donuts buried in powdered sugar at the two places...drank the chicory coffee too. Drawing a blank on the name but it's world famous too.

Went down to the french quarter and listened to a bunch of jazz...spotted cat? had the best.
