I answered the question - read the post again. I said God created people we choose to sin. so unless your asserting that that those who choose homosexuality as a lifestyle isnt a person then yes again the question was answered.
and Thank you!
If people do not like the loaded question in the OP... they will just have to get over it.
But attempting to turn it into something ELSE to suit wicked endeavors is not going to get it.
Easily clarified by adding a note to the OP that God doesnt author nor did He create us to SIN and or purpose of creation. I am shocked that so many seemingly do not understand the point of the OP. It isnt what has falsely been asserted here for sure.
But attempting to turn it into something ELSE to suit wicked endeavors is not going to get it.
Yes it does when it defines why eve was made - read it again and note the verses quoted - it mentions man and woman and what they are for pretty clearlyGenesis doesn't talk explicitly about heterosexual orientation.
I dont see that - i see attempts to pretend that is what it does in order to justify bashing the OP person because their stance isnt liked. The OP is indeed an attempt to dehumanize those of us who are lgbt - there is no getting around it.
Authoring a person and authoring their actions arent the same. I bore my children but i didnt bear their sins. You are right about one thing: God does not author sin...this is proof positive that homoexuality is NOT sin, because God authored me and millions of other faithful gay people, who love and serve God.
He called her unchristian and that is what i stated. Re read my post.Unless I missed something, stumpjumper never said or implied that IAR is not Christian, so I would like to know where you got that allegation.
I know what sin is -that is the reason the law was given so we would know what it is. God says what it is not me and not you.You might want to re-think your notion of what sin is. At this point, it appears that you think you can judge what is and is not sin, based on little, if any knowledge.
Uh, no one chooses homosexuality. It is chosen for them.
Yes sadly too much of that is happening based on something not said in any way from the OP post. It's difficult to fight against an enemy that has taken up residence in one's own head.

Ive condemned no one - but many have condemned the OP.The op has dehumanized no one and no one denys God made all people.
Anyone can find offense where they wish it to be to justify their own bad behavior or feign victimhood for the purpose of gaining sympathy for a cause. Now please go back to the topic - im not the topic - nor is IAR. The point has been clarified. But one can pretend it hasn't been and keep on bashing others personally.

Yes - the point has indeed been clarified. God made gay people.
I see nothing of the sort in the OP - I see an attempt by the OP to clarify what Gods intent for creation is and to point out that God doesnt author sin.
God does no I find it sickening and sad for a staff member to accuse a member of being unchristian when its a guideline of this site to avoid such flames - she also pointed you to my post which quite frankly sums up her intention to begin with.
God is NOT the author of sin - WE ARE. Nowhere does IAR post imply or suggest that God didnt create people- its suggestion is that God didnt create people for the purpose of SIN.
Now are you willing to state on this board that anyone who believes that homosexual lifestyles are a sin condition before God are unchistian and wrong and gnostic? If not- then you are unfairly condemning the op poster and not adressing the post but the PERSON and isnt that against the guidelines here????????????.

Merely a reading/misinterpretation through your own very biased filter...nothing more.

It's a Debate on Homosexuality forum - what other possible motive could the OP have but to dehumanize? The only possible answer to the question is that GOD INDEED DID CREATE HOMOSEXUALS...PERIOD. You cannot get around that.
I havent said anything about you personally yet you keep adressing me personally. I dont know you nor have i pretended to. Lastly if you dont want to hear about sin and what the bible says about it then a christian forum isnt the place for you.
Dear one,
I am not my actions. I am a beloved child and servant of the Living God. You do not have one clue about my actions...anymore than I have about yours. So kindly drop the sin talk.
Im really sorry to see this stated and wonder if you had a straight face as you typed it.I'm not sure anyone condemned the OP. Most of us merely pointed out her attempt to dehumanize lgbt people.
Anyone can find offense where they wish it to be to justify their own bad behavior or feign victimhood for the purpose of gaining sympathy for a cause.
Im not suprised to see this response - its often the response when one doesnt wish to deal what is painfully obvious when they are going against the obvious. Happens all the time in this forum.????
Yes - the point has indeed been clarified. God made gay people.
I don't think anyone has said or argued that God does author sin.
If you can find a place where that it argued, why don't you point it out?
I think those that have disputed the OP are critiquing the OP's conflation of "creating sinners" with "authoring sin".
God does, indeed, create sinners or people who sin (whatever phrasing you would like to use is fine by me).
1.) I said no such thing. I did make an edit before you quoted my and changed "unChristian acts" to acts that go against the Gospel of our Lord but neither of which means that the person, themself, is unChristian.
2.) I have already recused myself from any and all actions within this thread because I find the entire loaded premise a sickening attempt to degrade a group of God's creatures so whether or not I am a member of staff does not matter as I am posting here as a concerned fellow Christian who is standing up for what I believe I should as a Christian and proclaiming the Gospel as I see it...
The thread title implies that homosexuals were not created by God.
Maybe it's deliberately misleading; I don't know. It's certainly a loaded question as IAR readily conceded.
Again, though, you and IAR are conflating "creating sinners" with "authoring sin".
God, indeed, creates sinners. God does not author sin. If you want a theological explanation, I would recommend Plantinga's "Transworld Depravity"...
You can also find it pretty clearly in Romans...
<snip>It's certainly a loaded question as IAR readily conceded. <snip>

If you believe that this forum is for the purpose to dehumanize people then this forum needs to be removed. Like i said before the intent of the OP has been verbally clarified here clearly yet you and others i imagine will continue to pretend otherwise even though otherwise has been stated.
I havent said anything about you personally yet you keep adressing me personally. I dont know you nor have i pretended to. Lastly if you dont want to hear about sin and what the bible says about it then a christian forum isnt the place for you.
The hypocrisy in this thread is sickening.

God made people. People become and act on "gay" themselves. Thats the point thats now been reiterated ad nauseum. Further pretense that this hasnt yet been clarified will be ignored because wasting my time is not a pastime i enjoy. Have a blessed day.
God is NOT the author of sin - WE ARE. Nowhere does IAR post imply or suggest that God didnt create people- its suggestion is that God didnt create people for the purpose of SIN.
The issues was clraified before you blasted her.
http://christianforums.com/showpost.php?p=47205996&postcount=158Which clearly indicates that Stumpjumper's allusion to
homosexuals being created at some other point in time is also FALSE.
I made no flaming accusations and it is not against the rules to point out heresies in arguments. Political correctness is not all it's cracked up to be and many times there's nothing wrong with calling things as you see them.Your a staff member - you could have easily pmed the op and asked if there was a title issue rather than making flaming accusations.
And you as well.God bless and have a great day.
I only concede that it is a "loaded" question for those who oppose or choose
not to acknowledge God's purpose and intent for mankind, which is
revealed in the record of the creation of mankind.
Shall we ask IAR about her intention to discuss God's sovereignty and the Fall of humanity?
Thats false - back up about 3 posts before you blasted her (and later editted) People become homosexual and if you dont beleive that show me a homosexual infant. If you cannot then God didnt create a homosexual - the infant later became one themselves.Actually, no it was not.
Even after many stated the flaws in the argument, it was still being argued that God did not create homosexuals.
God made people. People become and act on "gay" themselves.
Yes you did and later editted like you said yourself. Please at least own what you did. Accusing someone of being unchristian and dehumanizing others when they did no such thing (just because you said they did doesnt mean they did) is a flame if you ask me and most people on this forum would agree and many people have been warned for calling others unchristian against the forum guidelines. I would know since i served on staff myself for over a year.I made no flaming accusations and it is not against the rules to point out heresies in arguments. Political correctness is not all it's cracked up to be and many times there's nothing wrong with calling things as you see them.
