Where is the Objective Morality?

On the contrary you wrote this below as an aspersion and claimed you had refuted the principle of love others as yourself, as being an objective morality, when in fact to any reasonable person that principle shows rape to be objectively immoral.

"I cannot see loving the man who raped me.
Any notion that I objectively should is garbage".

I agree, compassion/love is priceless. Since compassion displays only moral attributes, then we don't subjectively decide what is moral or immoral. It's the circumstance of compassion in our nature.

You're using "morality" weird. A "morality" is the set of rules. That morality is "objective" if those rules are facts. What you're stating could be the basis of an objective morality, but it wouldn't be the "objective morality" itself.

I think what you want to say is, "One ought to love others as himself" is true.

If that statement is a true fact (the same way that 2+2=4 is a true fact), then morality is objective.

Well said. Remove the himself and make it themselves. I do tend to use the term morality when referring to the moral spirit I see in the world. The moral spirit in mankind that can make a distinction between right and wrong without a set of rules and writes the rules that serve everyone.
