Be careful with that EC: By the same logic of not removing the Shabbat commandment, one could make the same argument for all of the other Lev. 23 feast days .....

The feasts were replaced for Christians by baptism and the Lord's supper.

Not until after the first or second century. (thereafter, the traditions introduced were not of YHWH nor of Y'SHUA)
The assembly of ekklesia was replaced with a form of religion that denies the power of YHWH
with / by / the enemy of Christ through the false teachers and false prophets and the wolves the Apostles warned and guarded against when the Apostles were still alive.

I was being facetious... note to self to stop as it is not conducive to the seriousness of what we are discussing. Please forgive me for inserting confusion into the dialogue.

Do you agree with the modified statements? They are all Law based... if you think they are silly, then you can see how silly it is to use the 4th Commandment in the same way. No matter how hard you'll try to remove the 4th Commandment from the rest, it will be to no avail. You, nor any other man is not God and cannot rescind or change anything He has written... in stone no less, personally communicated with His own finger.

Jesus said the new commandment is to love one another ergo a commandment keeper is someone with the love of God written in the heart. I just refuted all of Adventism in one sentence, lol

Your church is on fire and burning to the ground better jump ship before it's too late. But you would have to give up all your good works and we both know that's not going to happen. Not everyone who says Lord, Lord.

"Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.

If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the world, why, as if you were still alive in the world, do you submit to regulations— “Do not handle, Do not taste, Do not touch” (referring to things that all perish as they are used)—according to human precepts and teachings? These have indeed an appearance of wisdom in promoting self-made religion and asceticism and severity to the body, but they are of no value in stopping the indulgence of the flesh." Colossians 2:16-23

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

"After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God." Mark 16:19

"A Psalm of David. The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at My right hand Until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet." Psalm 110:1

What the law could not accomplish though the weakness of our flesh, Christ accomplished in His righteousness by the grace of the Father. It was commanded in the Mosaic Law (Old Testament) but believers have passed from death into life through Christ's sacrifice in the faith of His promises (New Testament).

"Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1

Amen.

Because of what exactly? Because I honour God in worshipping and communing with Him on the day He Sanctified and Hallowed? I wouldn't call that legalistic... obedient maybe.
Correct.
WHY does anyone call that "legalistic"?

Y'SHUA is (legalistic ??) the same WAY
- Y'SHUA and the Apostles and disciples all every one - they all WILLINGLY AND JOYOUSLY ("legalistically" ??) kept the Sabbath and obeyed YHWH.

If Y'SHUA did not obey YHWH, HE would not have been PERFECT and could not have been the PERFECT SACRIFICE FOR OUR SIN.
And all the disciples following Y'SHUA did as Y'SHUA did, and they did what HE told them to DO.

A STUDENT willingly does what his teacher teaches him to do. Why is that "legalistic" ?

Why don't you read the rest of Hebrews 4! The 7th day was a symbol of the finished work of Christ that we enter by faith not law keeping.

For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. Heb. 4:3
I did this once, but it didn't take. The remainder of Hebrews 4 doesn't change what it said. So what you have written here says what? Yes, His works were finished from the foundation of the world, yet WE THAT BELIEVE enter it. It says that the ones who didn't keep it did so because of unbelief. 9&10 say that there remains a rest for the people of God and that we cease from our works, as He DID from His . The rest of Hebrews 4 takes nothing away from that. The Sabbath was kept by believers until Rome changed it. It again was restored right on time like prophecy said it would be. It will be the reasoning behind the dragon being wroth with the woman. There will many people who claim they follow Christ, but are workers of iniquity. The door will not be opened once the time of probation closes. Heaven will depart as a scroll rolled up. All this funny symbolism in Dan & Rev tells a very explicit series of events and it boils down to keeping God's commands......or not.

Unfortunately yeshuaslavejeff, of all the Commandments of God, Satan hates the 4th the most for it identifies and memorializes the Creator. It is His seal as Almighty God, Creator of the heavens and earth.

The bible is clear that those that receive this seal of God in their foreheads are those that keep (all) the Commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ... which is the spirit of prophesy.

Rev 19:10
...for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Satan loves the commandments and he loves the old covenant and he loves legalism.

The one thing he hates is grace because it is unmerited. You know what grace is right? LOL

Legalism is the sin that led to the crucifixion of Christ which was the worst sin of all time and it was carried out by sabbath keepers who had healthy diets. The adventist assertion that sabbath keeping and health food are the cure for all evil is pretty much shattered by this inconvenient historical fact. Legalists establish the law by trying to keep the ten commandments. Christians establish the law by grace thru faith expressed in love for God and man.

Heb 4:9 "there REMAINS therefore a SABBATH rest for the people of God" -- "remains" from what? from "when"? -- the time of David in Psalms 96

Genesis 2:1-4 Adam and Eve given the Sabbath.
Exodus 20:11 Adam and Eve given the Sabbath

Acts 13 - gentiles worship God and hear the Gospel - Sabbath after Sabbath along with the Jews.

Acts 17:4 gentiles worship God and hear the Gospel - Sabbath after Sabbath along with the Jews.

Acts 18:4 - gentiles worship God and hear the Gospel - every Sabbath -- along with the Jews.QUOTE

So, BobRyan,

is Y'SHUA our (ekklesia born again) example

to do as HE does, to live as HE lives,

who kept and obeyed all of YHWH'S WORD,

or who the whole world follows: Satan, who disobeys all the time and tempts everyone to disobey ?

The Sabbath may very well be kept in the eternal ages but in the here and now it is just a shadow of the cross, a shadow of the rest of Christ and any Christian who willingly places themselves under the law is fallen from grace and anathema.

That's a common mistake. Confusing "under the law" with "law abiding".

It would be correct to say that anyone who thinks they can be saved under the law is wrong.

It would also be correct to say that anyone who thinks it is okay to be lawless is also wrong.

Y'SHUA did not die in vain, to provide stupid people(mankind) the right to commit adultery , murder, idolatry, and worship demons.

Y'SHUA died ON PURPOSE, so those who turn to HIM could be forgiven of their sins.

Those who claim they belong to YHWH, yet walk in darkness, are liars, and the TRUTH is not in them. They are not saved. (1st John, et al)

In darkness, works cannot be evaluated at all. Nor does anything make sense - it is not understood.

Only Y'SHUA is able to set anyone free from such darkness.

Are Adventist the only ones who believe they can obey Y'SHUA ?
Like the illustration from Scripture here:
http://www.gotquestions.org/go-and-sin-no-more.html
excerpt:
Question: "Why did Jesus tell people to ‘go and sin no more’ if sinlessness is impossible?"

Answer: There are two instances in the New Testament when Jesus told someone to “sin no more,” and they were each under very different circumstances. The first is when Jesus healed an invalid by the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1–15). Afterward, Jesus found the man and told him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you” (verse 14). It is clear that Jesus knew what had caused the man’s condition. We are not told the specifics of the man’s physical impairment, but the context implies that it was caused by sinful choices. Jesus warned the man that he had been given a second chance and that he should make better choices. If the man returned to his sinful behavior, he would have wasted the opportunity Jesus gave him to live whole and forgiven.
