That you are not qualified to overrule the bible
Yes it does. You can't say the universe came out of your shoes.I don't know how my car works and it propels me pretty far because I understand how to use it. I also don't know how shoes are made, yet I wear them and use them daily. In other words, not knowing where things come from does not stop you from being able to use them or make predictions to the extent that you have knowledge.
An intrinsic property is one that is inherent of the object or material in question. It is something that is simply part of it and was not inserted.
Just like matter has density, mass, color, etc, they were not 'put in,' but are an essential part of matter as a result of the interactions of particles and forces.
I don't try. Neither do I try to overrule God. Science has been set up to do that.No one is qualified to overrule reality, including you. Reality > Bible. Always.
That has nothing to do with what I said. I said USE not claim where else it came from. Focus.Yes it does. You can't say the universe came out of your shoes.
Say I what? Says me that that's the meaning of 'intrinsic?'Says you. What made it a part? Why is it a part in the way it is?
Get set up? This kind of language clearly shows that you still haven't been able to grasp the concept, yet.Says who? The fundamental forces and laws in place in any given quadrant determine colors, density, etc. So how did the forces and laws get set up?
I don't try. Neither do I try to overrule God. Science has been set up to do that.
Then what you think of as science is not a player in the creation debate.
Neither link details where the force comes from, just how it works. Whoopee do.
You you admit that the physics community is pretty well clueless on what time is. OK. Well, then, tell them that they better not assume that a moving star takes time to move! Not that they know anyhow. Or do you think they know that much!?? I am always astounded to see how little man knows.
Hey, I get that, you don't know.
Nothing about your shoes matters here. That has nothing to do with what I said. I said USE not claim where else it came from. Focus.
Say I what? Says me that that's the meaning of 'intrinsic?'
I don't know why certain properties are the way they are.
Do you know WHY? And don't give me your half-baked answer of "God put 'em there." Tell me WHY God put them there and SPECIFICALLY HOW. So, put up or shut up.
Get set up? This kind of language clearly shows that you still haven't been able to grasp the concept, yet.
Scientists work within the confines of what they can detect.
If they detect God one day, then great. If not, then they'll keep doing what they've done so far, increasing our knowledge of the universe and allowing us to do things we never dreamed possible,...
It debunks nothing. It tells stories. The core reasons that the big bang were assumed are belief based. 100%. A bunch of people that do not even know what the basic forces are, trying to peddle a creation myth.Science does not do "creation" it does the origins of the universe. It debunks creation if that is what you mean.
The strong force comes from the intrinsic property of quarks which have colour charge. I'm sure someone who has studied QCD will be able to explain more but I can see you just ignoring it.
I can't imagine being more clueless then!I wouldn't say clueless as such, the fundamental nature of time is unknown and that might take a while to be fully understood but I'm sure theorists have many many ideas.
What do you even mean by, "tell them that they better not assume that a moving star takes time to move!"?
So a moving star doesn't take any time to move? So anything that moves do not take any time to do so?

In other words something is thought to be a part of what quarks are, and they change color and do stuff. Maybe you better call someone that did study it, if you want it discussed here.
I can't imagine being more clueless then!
Ha. No. I have no idea how and if time applies in the distant universe. If you do know, let's see it? If the spiritual is involved, then how would we limit that to our conception of time?
Never seen any for that. But that's another thread. It is not a myth, it is backed up with evidence unlike what you peddle.
Let me make it easyMaybe Cabel would explain, but if he did you wouldn't listen and call it nonsense so it would be a waste of his time.
It is better to be clueless than to be arrogant and claim that you know god.
Believe being the key word there. But, since science have no clue anyhow, who cares? We have no reason to believe that it doesn't change in the early universe,
I doubt that our time sets the clocks of the universe. Since you admit not knowing even what it is, how could you make it apply way out there??if you want to present evidence that it does, I'm sure many physicists would be happy to hear it.
I couldn't care less.
Then there are these:This, right here is what separates you from anyone who pursues knowledge.
Might I inform you, much to your dismay, that the rest of mankind will continue to learn about the universe, despite your pathetic pleas for everyone to be as apathetic about the universe as yourself.
Are you more upset that the universe keeps growing far beyond that which the bible describes or do you just hate people that are smarter than you?
Better yet, do what I do.Oh well, you're right, AV. We should all stop learning how the universe works because your book says so. We should all just be blinded morons and get rid of all the medicines, technology, and agriculture that mankind has worked so hard to achieve. Let's just all go back to leprosy, theocracy, genocide, and wiping ourselves with dirt and pine cones.
Better yet, do what I do.
Employ some Boolean standards, then go ahead and use the Internet and go to doctors without feeling guilty.
This, right here, is what separates you from anyone who pursues knowledge. Your lack of a desire for knowledge.
Actually what separates the men from the boys here is what is known. It is not the pursuit of knowledge that counts, but the arriving at knowledge. Now then, since it has been admitted that even the basic fundamental forces are totally not known, where do you think that leaves you?
Only to go further, you are actively anti-knowledge. From what you've shown here, you simply want everyone to be stupid.
Tut tut. Now now. I am pro knowledge, but until you get some on at least the basics, what are we supposed to do here..pretend?
Might I inform you, much to your dismay, that the rest of mankind will continue to learn about the universe, despite your pathetic pleas for everyone to be as apathetic about the universe as yourself.
You might try. But I would point out that this is baseless prophesy. Prophesy which happens to fly in the face of God's Own holy word. The knowledge of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters cover the seas.
Are you more upset that the universe keeps growing far beyond that which the bible describes or do you just hate people that are smarter than you?
Nothing grows beyond what God describes. Relax.
It's funny. There is probably no one on the forum I have more different views from than you. (embedded stuff). Yet we don't seem to fight as much as some folks here. See, evos, people can get along. The key seems to be stop opposing God's word..we don't need to know all the answers, but we do need to look at God's revealed answers. Then there are these:
2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

I never admitted anything of the sort. In fact, myself and others here have illustrated the exact opposite. You just insist on not learning anything. Why are you even in this forum?
We've shown what we do know and you've shown that you haven't the faintest clue yourself. No, we don't know everything, but it's a far cry from your position: not knowing anything.
Tut tut. Now now. I am pro knowledge, but until you get some on at least the basics, what are we supposed to do here..pretend?
Going into a science sub-forum parading the "science is evil" picket shows otherwise. Really, there is information pretty much everywhere on the forces you are asking about, yet you still seem to be saying we don't know anything. If you have nothing to contribute to the forum other than protesting knowledge, leave the forum. If you have nothing to contribute to man kind, then please consider the usefulness of your own existence.
You might try. But I would point out that this is baseless prophesy. Prophesy which happens to fly in the face of God's Own holy word. The knowledge of the Lord shall cover the earth as the waters cover the seas.
It's not prophecy. It's simply happening right now, and has been happening for thousands of years. Man kind has only increased his knowledge. Folks like you have been trying to stop it for centuries. It's nothing new.
Nothing grows beyond what God describes. Relax.
Actually, the universe I know is far bigger than the one the bible describes in any dimension -- and this I find most intriguing, let alone relaxing. I'd rather thing of a vastly beautiful orchestration of energy and matter than a dome underneath some second ocean with little lights painted on, ruled by a sadistic and murderous supernatural being who gives his creation the choice between eternal punishment or eternal bondage. That is unsettling. Good for me, we have no evidence to support the latter.
