I don't define any of the categories. It is up to you whether you want your name added to a particular category - as you see fit.
Okay, I'll hold off on being added to either of the covenant theology related categories for now until I can get a definition, but you can add me to post-trib. Thanks.

OK someone is going to have to explain some of these terms to me. Dispensational, Anytime rapture, premillenial, pre-tribulational, etc. They seem to overlap, not entirely, but is there a Venn diagram of these areas?

I believe the 7 years of tribulation are in the future - possibly soon. I'm clearly a futurist. I am unsure of the timing of the rapture, and it might be pre-trib, mid-trib, or post-trib. I'm trying but not there yet. I do not think we are already in the 1,000 years, and I do believe there is a literal 1,000 year period called the millennia in Revelation.

I've tried hard to see the preterist point of view but it just doesn't add up to me, and believe me I've tried - really tried. I can see Idealism as possible but less likely than Futurist being right, but Idealism is so broad its hard to prove wrong. Historicism is not viable nor is Preterism, and Futurism seems most likely, but I am a long ways from when the rapture is exactly. In fact, when we started a study group I am in, that was my fundamental question - when is the rapture, within the 7 years? But, we backed up to study the 4 views of Revelation that Dr. Russell Gentry wrote, when all of us Baptists realized there ARE other views, so we got through the Preterism and Idealism chapters, then jumped to the other book with a similar title by Steve Gregg on 4 views of Revelation. After we finish this book, which is likely to last until December or early 2022 then we plan to go to a book on Futurism that explores the possibilities of rapture timing. I didn't realize until just recently that the Olivet discourse was not referring to the rapture, but the final second coming of Christ to where the whole planet sees it. I guess I was in lazy "Left Behind" school of eschatology before we began this serious journal following the 2 year study of Grudem's Systemic Theology, where I first discovered an interest in Eschatology toward the very end of that giant book, but it wasn't enough by itself to settle things for me, and hence the current study I've been in for two months now. So far we've made it to Revelation Chapter 5, but in my Bible Knowledge Commentary it asks 5 questions before proceeding to Chapter 6, so now we are about to dive into Daniel because one of those questions required us to do so.

So what does that make me now?

So, where do you get your "7 years of tribulation"?
