I'd LOVE to do more shopping in used book stores, but Miami is sorely lacking them. Seems like there was one on every corner in Chicago. Either people in Miami don't read, or they keep every book they ever bought.

Now that I think about it, *I* keep every book I buy, darn near. I'm going to have to win the lottery so I can build a house with a library wing.

Usually I'll only buy from a big box or chain bookstore as a last resort... I have issues with buying $7 paperback novels!

A paperback in Australia is $19.95  and when you consider with that the australian dollar is worth approximately $0.70US... thats the equivalent of about 14 dollars I pay for one book!!!

I buy my books from KMart and Target if possible, because you get 35% off the RRP. Otherwise I'll use a bookstore (Dymocks, or Angus & Robertson) and if I still cant find what I want, chances are the Galaxy Bookshop (only fantasy and sci fi) will have it :D
