There may be little variants in terms of case laws but the basic, fundamental and abstract laws are the same. Concrete applications may differ, but people will always agree about the abstractions.

For instance, everyone will agree that murder is wrong.

People will disagree as to whether or not "murder" applies to abortion.

I can think of several instances in which I think murder is right. Also I don't get my morals from god....I don't know if you're serious about that statement or just goading, but why even make it? You know you don't have any basis for it.

There are people who want "morals" but only so others will not get in the way of their getting what they want. Or, they want to control people, but without God. So, I would say they are not really being "moral".

:)

Or...they try to control people with god. You see a lot of that too.
