I was thinking about this the other day...

does God ever have to tell you "I never see you consistently enough to know when to show up..." ?

I know that God knows all things, but what does a lack of consistency on our part say about how we view the relationship?

Daniel prayed three times a day morning noon and evening every day. Consistentcy. Something we all need to grow in the gardens of our hearts. have a great day!

Seems odd but Prayer sems to be a weakness among Christians in general.
Not long ago, I heard a young Pastor say that he suffered when he went two or three days without praying. I thought, "HUH?" Did he really say that? And in a sermon? WOW! No wonder Christians suffer when our leaders set such an example!

Its easy to get out of prayer when you let sin in. Its the first thing to go...its also the FIRST way to get yourself back right to God. I still don't have the prayer life I used to have but God is working on me and talking through your words, expecially posting of scripture, along with your thoughs and experiences in Lord. Father God: Bless your children who faithfully worship you and lift up those who struggle. In Jesus name.

To pray unceasingly means approaching God in ALL situation, whether it is to praise Him, thank Him, ask Him for help and advice, or simply sharing your feelings with Him.

Have a constant awareness of God being with you and hearing you no matter what you are thinking, or saying. He is you best friend who NEVER leaves your side. You can trust Him in all situations.

Amen to that! Praying unceasingly doesn't mean to close your eyes and bow your heads otherwise you'll be in this position the whole day and you'll not be able to finish your other work. Treat God as a friend who walks beside you in every situation. And when you see situations arise, start thinking of why it happened and how it can fit into a global picture. That's the area of my enjoyment btw. It's really interesting to think about such thoughts. And to contemplate on heavenly things is what every Christian should do, not necessarily to do the same as I.

God really can not use people who are not consistant and steadfast.

Rev. 3:16
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

They may still be saved, but He will not use lukewarm people in the ministry. He wants people on fire for Him.
