I live in the Mojave desert of California (pictured below), the Golden state where I was born and mostly raised. We spent two and a half years in Texas and then two and a half more years in North Carolina when I was young. My Father was a Marine and that's why we moved around. Since then I've been to all 50 states and Washington, DC and I like them all. :) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everybody!

I'm from Missouri, I'll tell what city privately of course, I'm proud to live here. I'm curious if there a lot of East coast folks, West coast folks, Midwest, Southern or northern plains etc. Nobody need be specific if one doesn't want to. I find it interesting how different areas sometimes think differently and we all know the speech patterns vary. Anybody in the world can participate. Let us know. OK, I live in St. Louis, home of the Cardinals. I love baseball. I couldn't resist.
I've been to the Show Me State a couple of times and liked it very much. Once to Kansas City and the other time to your city, St. Louis. I'm a Lewis & Clark buff, so I really enjoyed St. Louis. And the view from the top of the Gateway Arch is incredible. But on baseball, we differ. I'm a lifelong Dodgers fan, and I really enjoy the Cardinals vs Dodgers games. They're right around the .500 mark which is incredible considering how many times they've played each other over the decades. Next to the Dodgers vs Giants, the Dodgers vs the Cardinals are my favorite games each year. I got part of your ballpark in the picture from the top of the arch. It was a cramped view for me up there. :)
