Sure, but non-positive change in viewpoint is certainly is not what architects of this site had in mind, methinks.
My apologies for the arsenic tones of my earlier posts.I think you expect too much from discussions like this. I will repeat my previous statement: For me, the purpose is to learn from others who have a different opinion than my own, to find out why they hold the views they do. It helps me to know how to respond to them more effectively in the outside world. I don't know what it is like in Korea, but in this country the conflict that Fundamentalist Christians have stirred up between science and religion has a serious effect on public policy issues which effect all of us, Christians and non-Christians alike. I would like to learn more about it from Fundamentalist Christians themselves, rather than just from the politicians who front for them.
I don't think I am demanding too much, to see some positive changes in viewpoint, after a considerable length of time spent in debates here. And again; you don't get to decide what counts as a change in viewpoint from me or others on this website just because you don't like the idea of non-believers being on this site.
This website has a Christians Only section.
You don't get to demand anything at all. If you don't like what you see here, then go somewhere else.I don't think I am demanding too much, to see some positive changes in viewpoint, after a considerable length of time spent in debates here.
love ya too, babe. You don't get to demand anything at all. If you don't like what you see here, then go somewhere else.

I don't love you as much as Tinker, I am sorry to say.Tinker Grey beat me to it, but you don't get to demand anything from anyone on this forum.
As I've said repeatedly: this website has a Christians Only section. If you don't like what you see here, feel free to go over there.
I don't love you as much as Tinker, I am sorry to say.
And I'm acknowledging that you're engaging in waste of time, if there has been no non-positive changes in stances so far.Buddy, I don't care about your love, nor friendship or anything you give. I just want to acknowledge what I've been telling you: this website has a Christians Only section. If you don't like what you see here, feel free to go over there.
And I'm acknowledging that you're engaging in waste of time, if there has been no non-positive changes in stances so far.
'Accepting that non-believers can be on this website' is not incompatible with the idea of questioning the merit of such a scene. And again, that's not for you to decide and you're definitely working to take the thread really off-topic now.
Just accept that non-believers can be on this website since it allows people like that to be here, accept that if you want to only engage with believers that there is a Christians Only section of the website, and move on.
'Accepting that non-believers can be on this website' is not incompatible with the idea of questioning the merit of such a scene.
So in other words, pleasure gained from arguing, rather than being persuaded? Why does it need to be of merit that this website is open to non-believers? The merit is of itself: that this website is open to non-believers as well as believers.
At this point, I honestly think you're just being a troll with this line of questioning.
Perhaps not. It takes the arguments brought by Fundamentalist Christians themselves to do that.Sure, but non-positive change in viewpoint is certainly is not what architects of this site had in mind, methinks.
So in other words, pleasure gained from arguing, rather than being persuaded?
Sorry, but it feels disingenuous on your part to make a noble attempt at steering the conversation back to OP at hand... after having engaged in my subtopic for a page or two now. That's what your inability to, or you desire not to, acknowledge that this website is open to non-believers and if you don't want to interact with them then there is the Christians Only section of the forum open to you.
Now, do you have anything to comment on about the OP and topic of this thread?
Still, you are here arguing your opinions. Don't you want to know why we think your arguments are faulty? It might help you perfect them.Sorry, but it feels disingenuous on your part to make a noble attempt at steering the conversation back to OP at hand... after having engaged in my subtopic for a page or two now.
My statement still stands... no positive change in viewpoint, even after copious amounts of bits and bytes over the intertubes...
No worries, my irons are being quite sharpened even at this very moment.Still, you are here arguing your opinions. Don't you want to know why we think your arguments are faulty? It might help you perfect them.

Now, time out here... my p-word gets censored, but not that d-word??I'll call it a page at most. Page and a half.
I've just been tying to see if you'll acknowledge and accept the fact that if you don't want to engage with non-believers then there is the Christians Only section on this website for you to go to. You're the ones who's been twisting and turning to avoid answering. It doesn't matter a damn if you don't see what you count as a positive change or not. People's viewpoints have changed because of interactions on this website. For better or worse is not for you to decide. Nor should you really care, to be honest.
