Food sanitation company accused of employing at least 31 children on graveyard shifts in slaughterhouses
My favorite parts...
Initial evidence indicates the company may also employ more kids under similar conditions at 400 other sites across the country, in addition to the 31 minors employed at three sites that investigators already confirmed, according to the complaint.
Good job. Anyone who thought voting Democrat on this issue can go back and look at the border crisis issue in 2020 and see multiple articles about unaccompanied children in many cases literally thrown over the fence.
You believed they were going to stay with a "sponsor"...but sponsor's just the fancy new term for child trafficker. How many of these horrific stories do we need to hear before people stop supporting this? It only stops when you enforce immigration laws and close asylum loopholes. Biden’s literally shipping these kids around the nation.
I mean we got 12yo Guatemalan girls being raped by their mother's boyfriend and then used for political purposes as she's rushed across state lines for an abortion. Now we know why it was so urgent. She probably had to work a 8-10 shift power washing bone saws and trying to avoid chemical burns. She only gets 1 day off a week....get her across state lines!
For all the nonsense that was thrown at the previous administration for trying to prevent this garbage there's basically no outrage at the closest thing to actual slavery we've had in this country since....I dunno....slavery. The gall of some people who wagged their fingers because children and parents were separated.....and then sent home to their country.....and the doctors who claimed that those couple of days would amount to a lifetime of trauma.
How traumatic do you think it is if your parents catapult you over a fence so you can work a dangerous job under literally oppressive conditions 7 days a week?
I mean, we hear a lot about oppression from the very same people who voted for this. Read the article. You can learn about the vast gulf between real oppression and every other instance they used that word in. Can you imagine telling one of these kids that you're oppressed because you had to fill out a couple more job applications before you got a callback than a white guy? They'll fall asleep because they're 13 and and work all night and your story of oppression is boring them.
I'm not telling anyone to vote for a party or candidate they don't like....but if your favorite candidate supports making it easier to enter the US and opposes enforcement? Please just don't vote for them. This is disgusting. They'll never really go after the big companies. Those companies that own those plants are funding the campaigns of the same politicians who sent those children to them.
