Just like you, blynn, I wanted to be a nurse when I was young, but my mother discouraged me because it was too hard and tiring a job, in her opinion. She used to be a practical nurse for awhile and she worked so very hard. That's probably why she didn't want me to be a nurse.

I'm 22 i went to college for a year.. didn't know what to do with my life, then i decided to go to a technical school and work to become a network engineer, Now i'm thinkin about going back to college... i still dunno what to do with my life... but i'm waisting lots of money on education trying to figure it out when i was little i wanted to be a preacher, then a cartoonist, then work for an add agency.. and various other things.. i'm just not particularly good at anything and can't figure out what i'd enjoy doing for the rest of my life. maybe someday, hopefully before i have gray hair i'll figure it out.

Well I wanted to be a few things. One of them was I wanted to be a race car driver like my Dad.

You know, I'm 30 & I still have no idea what I'd like to be when I grow up. Right now I'm do contracts administration for a tech co. It's a good job, but I'm not sure that I want to do it forever. I think it would be very cool to work @ my church. I love those people!

Sorry, I don't get to get on every day. I was an Operations Specialist in the Navy (radar/satellite tracking, data links and voice communications). I was on board USS BOXER (LHD 4) for 4 years (actually was on the first crew). I now work for the National Park Service at Lake Powell.

I always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. I have worked with mentally and physically challenged adults for 14 yrs.....kinda the same work but different. I love my job....my dream would be to be a teacher of children willing and ready to learn!

All I've wanted to be is a wife and someday a mother. And in high school I wanted to be a forensic sciencetist. Right now I work at walmart I don't know what I'm going to do with my life, I have no clue what God is going to do with me. But my dream is still to be a wife and then kids later on.

Hi all!

I'm 39 & God has blessed my wife & I with 2 marvelous boys (2 & 6). I love playing with them & DW often remarks that she has three little boys to take care of. When I grow up & become a Grandpa (God willing!), I want to play with my grandkids the same way I play with our boys today. I want to be the type of Grandpa that as I'm rolling around on the floor or something with my young grandchildren that one of daughters-in-law will gesture towards me & then ask my wife: "He has always been that way?" My wife will just roll her eyes.

I figure that our bodies will age & that there's nothing we can do about it (that's what God wrote into the programming). But whether we get old is entirely up to us.

My dad and my brother both got a C in Chemistry, and they are both doctors. My dad because it was a lot easier to get into medical school 60 years ago. Doctors did not make that much money back then. Then he managed somehow to get my brother into his medical school.

He tells a story about when he first started out, none of the doctors in the area wanted to do house calls. So he did all the house calls for them, and started to build up a practice that way. He use to charge $5, but then one day he called a TV repair man to come out and replace a tube in the TV and the guy charged him $10. So then he started to charge $10 for house calls.

i want to be a writer but that's not what i'm studying at the moment, um, maybe being an amateur wouldn't be too bad.

Well, I always wanted to be a fireman, and I did do that for 4 years volunteering, but would still like to do it.
I want to be a captain of a ship, either coast guard or freightliner, or evn tugboat. I love boats, water and want to be buried at sea when I die even if I don't make it at being a captain. AYE Captain
