When You Grow Up

When you were little what did you want to be when you grew up?


Did you end up doing this when you did grow up?


All that I wanted to be when I grew up was a nurse.


Haven't done it yet. It is still a dream of mine. Hopefully one day soon I can go back to college and get my nursing degree.

When I was akid I wanted to be a lawyer. I did not even know what a lawyer was--I just knew they made lots of money. As soon as I figured out what one was I did not want to be one

Of course there were the stages I went through, wanting to be a nurse, a teacher, veterinarian.

I did not grow up to do any of these things. I'm a mom, and I guess that job kinda covers all the professions!

I wanted to be an astronaut for NASA like my uncle...I did manage to go to space camp...but thats as far as that dream got me...I went into biological sciences instead, but I did minor in astronomy...

I wanted to be stewardess which my father thought was hysterical because i suffer from motion sickness. i also wanted to be a jockey but i was too tall

I wanted to be an accountant...I know numbers? but thats what I wanted to do, now I'm a full time mom with 2 girls...and want to get into real estate

i got a degree in print communication & spanish & wanted to be an international journalist

now i am happy being a nanny & want to be a mommy & wife LOL

As a preacher's kid, I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up. All I knew was that I didn't want to be a preacher.

well when i was a kid i wanted to be a doctor and then i found out how much school you had to go to and i dropped that one


and the past 3 years of college ive changed from a history teacher, recording technology (working in a studio), to clinical psycology....now im a journalism major and im planning on sticking with this one hopefully ill be able to write for a music magazine aka ccm or hm magazine maybe...who knows

I never really knew when I was growing up. Didn't have that one "dream job". I guess that's why since leaving college (where I majored in art) I've been in the Military, a restaurant manager, a Mail Carrier and now I work in Federal law enforcement. But, my favorite job will always be being a dad.

I wanted to be a sports broadcaster (til I was 10 or 11), a pediatrician, a physical therapist (til my junior year of high school), a high school math teacher (until I got a D in calculus)...

I'm in college now, and haven't picked out anything yet...I'm thinking about early childhood/children's ministry (which means transferring)...but who knows where I'll end up...I'm looking forward to being a wife and a mother more than anything else

I wnated to be a paleontologist as a kid. As a teen a virologist. Got to uni, saw the chemistry needed for virology, turned to ecology. Now it turns out I can postgrad in Paleontology.

You were in the military and now law enforcement? Wow. I used to want to join the Parachute Regiment but God showed me otherwise and is perhaps leading me towards a police job (firearms team possibly). What job do you do in law enforcement, and what did you used to do in the military?

I wanted to be a pilot until my eyes went bad when i was in 3rd grade

Then i wanted to be a doctor so i applied physical theraphy for my premed then i encountered organic chemistry(needless to say i did not do well hence squashed my ambitions)

Then i went to music which i found to be ironic since my mom told me before that i can't sing in tune when i was a child

But then I found this is God's will for me

BTW i'm still pursuing the doctor thing, only a Phd that is

I have a 10 year old son who wants to be a rodeo clown This has been his desire since he was 4. I really hope he soon changes his mind.
