Do you mean that you wouldn't have shown her any respect of asking for a word if you hadn't thought of her as a male? I find that rather odd especially when referring to prophesy. Honesty isn't becoming to a women but a man can say what he thinks?Yeah, that did throw me. The thing is that in her OP (if I read it correctly), Heart2soul indentifies as a prophet that has been shunned because of the word they have been called to speak to the people, a word that has often been unpleasant and unwelcome but nevertheless is in accordance with the Truth and authorized by Him, and she suffers for this.

Your rig shows something shining, very feminine and victorous, which may come in the future, but certainly does not depict the here and now.
Rather (IMO) a rig that suits the OP would depict something like a cross between a dirty goatskin prophetess of Israel and a blood stained battle worn knight. Wish I could draw what I see but it is beyond me for now.

Truth is men just speak what is on their mind and knowing they have no ill feelings in their heart they see nothing wrong with being forthright. Women on the other hand are super sensitive and it doesn't take much for a man to offend them. We both have areas to improve on and we will! AMEN!

Lol....women in the old testament were not spoken of much as prophets or seers but the 2 that comes to my mind were mighty women of God...Miriam and Deborah (the judge). With Deborah even Generals from the King's army would seek Deborah out for direction through prophecy or visions. God Bless!Yeah, that did throw me. But I am not here to prophesy to anyone. I just needed encouragement to get back in the call God has placed on my life.
Doom and gloom prophetic messages and pointing out others sin is not from God. From what you have written, I do not encourage you to prophesy to anyone. God operates out of Covenant, always has and always will and we are in the New Covenant, not the Old. You are in the wrong Covenant.
Here is an example of an Old Covenant prophet, Elijah.
1 Kings 17:17-18, Some time later the son of the woman who owned the house became ill. He grew worse and worse, and finally stopped breathing. She said to Elijah, “What do you have against me, man of God? Did you come to remind me of my sin and kill my son?"
As you can see from the response, she blames her sin for her son's death and this is Old Covenant mentality and OC prophets were sin hunters.
What is New Covenant prophecy?
John 16:14-15, He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”
Bringing glory to Jesus, not to you. All has been accomplished in Jesus and the Holy Spirit attests to it.
1 Corinthians 14:3, But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.
If what you prophesy does not strengthen, encourage and comfort, it is not from God. Your friends, family and church family ran a mile for good reason and the separation you feel from the Father came from the enemy.

You are a mighty warrior for Him my sister.I have to confess that I did quite well because I had a wonderful husband, when he died, i just couldn't seem to keep it together. I lost it. Big time. I lost the will to live, to minister, to even care whether I pleased God or not. That was worse than any shunning from people i hardly know. It took years to stop grieving, but I have finally let him go. I am ready to take up my shield of faith and put on the whole armor of God and go to battle for the sake of His Kingdom and those who are lost. Thanks for that honesty. Enabling behaviour with 'boys will be boys' is never a good thing for all concerned. Better to encourage each other to be men. It just served to encourage more mocking of what a woman warrior should look like on both of your parts. How do you know what a woman warrior should look like? Face it, if she was the man you thought her to be it would be God you both were mocking. Could well be. And talk about hating on your own body that is the body of Christ, not Christian behaviour no matter for how many thousands of years men have been silencing women with those tactics. But I was engaging in some very frank self reflection and realised, to my dissapointment, that there was still something of this in me.
Look at Romans 12:6-8 to see the progression of prophesy in this time of the new testament for the church.
Prophesy in verse 6 is direct revelation from God that speaks for God. It has to be remembered that in Hebrews 1 we're told that in times past God spoke to us thru prophets but in this day He speaks to us thru the Son. In a change from the old priesthood and into the new it has been scripturally pointed out that the old has passed away. Always now prophesy is related to Christ and a deeper revelation of Him for the edification of the body. The mind of Christ for His own. There's many passages that anyone can look up for a word study on gaining the mind of Christ. When breaking that down is something that all believers should have if they have truly laid themselves out as a living sacrifice (death to self) and that's just reasonable service. Prediction also can be included in prophesy. In any case it's light shining in the dark.
The next verse 7 relates to teaching, usually that which is revealed prophetically is taught. Teachers then would teach from conviction of the truth of what has been revealed to their hearts as truth according to the Holy Spirit within and always contained in scripture.
The verse following that 8 is exhortation that is based on both of the above. All 3 are used for building the body up in stature leading to the fullness of Christ. And all of them supply life to the saints because of the straight line to the Father thru His Son for the body.

I believe that if a woman is adequately covered and not posing suggestively, there is nothing shameful about a womanly image. And men should take care to not impose that shame on them. (My wife has experienced this from time to time.)
I did three more images in this series for three of my sons. I seem to get less grief for the equivalent male images.
Probably what you did wrong ( likely due to your age) was give the truth with less than great tact. There are ways to tell someone they smell bad without actually saying "You stink," you get me?I have had many instances of God using me to speak to others, some edifying, some warnings....I really didn't ask for this gift. I wanted to operate in the gifts of healing...but it wasn't meant to be I suppose...the thing most disturbing is my friends, family and church family stopped hanging around me. I had one of them tell me because they didn't want me to know their sin...I explained I don't think it works like that. I was young and really didn't understand the gift myself...I only knew that obedience was the most important thing. Now after years of despise, abuse and rejection I am empty. What did I do wrong? I still see into peoples lives but I don't share anymore. This has caused much grief and anguish and separation of relationship between me and my Father. Please help me understand.
In my opinion, this is not correct. If you do away with one of the four gift offices, you must get rid of all of them. Are you saying there are no more evangelists, or teachers? Imo there are no longer offices of prophets. Sons and daughters will prophesy but not even Peter could maintain a revelation from God without saying something from another spirit 2 min later. There's only One that holds the office of prophesy now and He also holds the office of king and priest. He allows us to give utterance to His word but again not even Paul was infallible in always speaking forth God. Sometimes we can be in the wrong spirit as demonstrated by Peter and the sons of thunder. Infallibility is a condition of the office of prophet
