We do not currently have the technology to do that.Scrubbing carbon emissions from air at the time of consumption and restoring it to the earth from whence it came is hardly a threat.
If we are comparing atmospheric emission coal loses by default as nuclear plants have zero harmful atmospheric emissions and none at all unless you count water vapor from the cooling towers.
What I was referring to was the physical byproducts of the plants operation which coal also loses handily. Coal combustion produces mountains of toxic ash that is poorly contained and often befouls the rivers around plants. Nuclear fission produces very little high level radioactive waste every last scrap of which is accounted for and monitored by armed guards 24/7.
