When it seems that God is silent

Debunking the concept of the silence of God.​

As a Christian, we would not say that our walk with Jesus is one of the easiest things there is. There is no shortage of testing times. And logically, as our Lord warned us, “there will be tribulations in the world” which are part of the journey towards eternal bliss. Difficulties that are supposed to purify us and differentiate between the goats and the sheep. But when these difficulties present themselves to us, our “self” tries to let us know that the race to God is not worth it.

This leads me to ask you this question: Have you ever found yourself in a situation as a Christian where you feel like God is silent? If so, I wouldn't doubt it even a little bit. In times of perplexity and confusion, it is natural to question God's presence and direction. It is a human feeling straight from the laboratory of sin. These are moments that can leave us lost and disconnected. However, it is important to remember that silence has never necessarily been synonymous with absence.
