In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Ours is July 7, 2007 - 500+ days away or something like that. We have just finished basic planning as in colors we want, a tentative guest list, looking for venues, etc. We only plan to have a wedding with 70 or fewer people so we are taking our time and not stressing. I wish he'd get more involved though, I am basically planning everything myself.

My bf and I aren't engaged yet but we have booked our photographer, and reception hall becaue we don't want a long engagement but we know thta in order to get good deals we need to start booking stuff in advance.. Our wedding date is going to be June 23rd, 2007. Which is in 492 days, can't wait!

Ours is 51 days away (April 8th). We have everything planned except the photographer. My fiance hasn't liked any that we have talked to but he won't do the work to find one he likes. If he can't help me decide by the end of next week, we will go with the one I like the best (yeah, they're still available).

The only advice I will give is to stay on track and not let things pile up until the last minute.

I'm getting married in... (see my signature for the countdown!), which is June 10th, 2006. :)

We're doing a lot of stuff ourselves, so there's a lot we're still working on. We've got the colours already... dresses are bought... we're in the process of making invitations (have designed them already, just assembling them now), i've been working on planning the flowers lately... I have a pretty good idea of what I want (and it's definitely do-able! yay!), we have the church and the hall (and the food) booked. I think we're making good progress.

Actually that's when the church wedding will be, the legal wedding might be one day or several days ahead.
We have a reception hall booked, a catering service, first ideas of the menu, my fabric for my dress plus the pattern, mydress for the legal wedding, two priests, registry lists, anouncements, etc.
