When Is One's Name Written In The Book Of Life?

'Rightly dividing the word' has given us several thousand competing theological positions.

Jesus dealt with differing theological positions during His ministry, so like Solomon said, "there is NOTHING new under the sun".

We are ALL imperfect when it come to understanding God's word, NO ONE is going to have it 100% correct. A saint will only lose when they stop getting into the word. The Holy Spirit is our teacher and when we stay in the word, He will reveal to us as He see fit.

As God is outside of time, He knew who would be in the Book of Life from the beginning. also those who would follow the Beast.

I'm aware of the different translations. There would be no need to write anyone's name in the Book before the foundations of the world if God was doing it per some future decision those individuals made. What difference would it make?

The question is what does sin have to do with taking thought to add, or for that matter take away from our stature in him, if all things are of God ... it is not a question of the character of man, but the character of God (and relational in this as God being our father) which the Bible slowly unfolds into one who gives his only son (and just when you thought it was finished), then as woman that comes out of the side of man, a nakedness is revealed again).

The Bible is sixty-six books, the other six is our perception of it, which is much like the one thing the rich young ruler lacked, which is the same truth of the requirement to be the disciple of Christ, and is the cup every son drinks of.

Chosen. He picks someone and writes their name in the Book.



They became saved when He wrote their names in the Book. For instance, they were born and died one day later. They were saved because they were chosen and their names already written. It wasn't about Him knowing they would choose Him in the future, they didn't have the opportunity to choose Him.



He didn't pre-determine our fate in the sense that we had to be saved, it's still ours to lose, but He did have those He choose for the opportunity to remain in the Book of Life.
