GOD BLESS YOU,
Many times in our Christian walk we hear people say that if OUR FATHER would to give them instructions to do something, some of them would be hesitant. For example, the Pastor that told me I was to be a minister before I even got saved said when GOD told her to approach me about becoming a Christian she was hesitant two times saying that she was tired. I was bussing tables at the time so GOD MADE it easy for her by sending me over to her. That's when her and her husband told me and I accepted JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOUR.
Now, what would have happened if they kept making excuses and never said a word to me. I had already made up in my mind that I was going to get 'saved' that year anyway. How many people walk past us that we don't say a word to and that person or persons is looking for GOD?
Let me share a testimony with you about moving when THE LORD says move. I thank GOD that I have always been seen as an oddball because in not trying to fit in with the crowd, gives me experiences most wouldn't try to do. I used to be on a cycling racing team called Pitt County Extreme Racers. We didn't race mountain bikes or did our cycling in the countryside, we actually raced rush hour traffic (don't knock it till you tried it).
I clocked my top speed at thirty-seven miles per hour but others have clocked me going much faster. One night OUR FATHER have given me an assignment and THE FATHER showed me that this would be a dangerous one. I love being obedient to THE LORD so dangerous or not I knew GOD would protect me.
It required me to do a night ride and on some of these country roads there are no lights. Anyway, I left the house at nine-thirty hyped and ready to roll (I made sure I said my Prayers). It wasn't even five minutes later that I was pushed off the road by a minivan. In trying to get back on the road I hit uneven pavement, the bike flipped up and I hit the ground face first.
The first thing I said was "Thank You GOD", because I was still breathing and still conscious. The very next thing that happened was GOD said ,"MOVE AND MOVE RIGHT NOW!!!" ( I was still laying in the road). Immediately I kicked that bike off me, rolled off the road, stood up and said "Thank you GOD", again. By the time I gotten the words outta my mouth, another minivan rolled through the same spot I was just laying in (I haven't had the time to say OUCH yet).
I had four seconds from the time GOD said "MOVE" to get out of the way. Now my faith is very strong so I didn't go to the hospital for I knew GOD would heal me. I made it home and looked in the mirror. My face looked as though someone had hit me with a two by four. When I put the alcohol on my face that's when I finally said OUCH!!!
To that I say Thank you JESUS CHRIST because THE LORD kept me in peace the entire night. The next day my cousin came by and we were actually laughing about it. My comment was ,"What's a warrior for the LORD without battle scars". Three days later there was'nt a mark on my face and that week I rode forty-one miles in one day on my bike.
Now, what if when I was laying on the pavement and GOD told me to move, I didn't because of the pain I felt, or told OUR GOD I couldn't move because I just crashed. I more than likely wouldn't felt pain again or be here to share this with you.
Yes I was, seriously hurt but not enough to be disobedient. When GOD tells us to do something we should act upon the words of OUR LOVING FATHER immediately. I say this moreso because it is our jobs to lead people to the alter to accept JESUS CHRST as LORD and SAVIOUR.
If we make excuses look at the lives lost. Thank you all and keep me in your Prayers.
GOD BLESS YOU
