Ezekiel 38:2 “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog

Rev. 20:8
And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

GOG: Greek
G1136
Γώγ
Gōg
gogue
Gog, a symbolic name for some future Antichrist: - Gog.

MAGOG: Greek
G3098:
Μαγώγ
Magōg
mag-ogue'
Magog, a foreign nation, that is, (figuratively) an Antichristian party: - Magog.

GOG: Hebrew
H1463
גּוֹג
gôg
gohg
Of uncertain derivation; Gog, the name of an Israelite, also of some northern nation: - Gog.

MAGOG: Hebrew
H4031
מָגוֹג
mâgôg
maw-gogue'
From H1463; Magog, a son of Japheth; also a barbarous northern region: - Magog.

In the Old Testament, Gog & Magog were actual Person, Place, People.
In the New Testament Gog & Magog are Symbolic terms.

Therefore we cannot use what was written in Ezekial and apply it to Revelation, the End Times, or the Millennium.

That only leaves us with this one usage found in the New Testament,
Rev. 20:8 and with the Symbolic understanding of the words.

Both Gog a Magog attack in ezekiel 38,39 and revelation 20

It's not uncommon for things to happen twice, yet not involve the same people both times. Take satan for instance. Why is he bound? So that he can deceive the nations no more. Obviously he was deceiving the nations then. What does he do once loosed? He deceives the nations yet again. But since there is a thousand years before he is loosed, all of the same people he was deceiving before he was bound couldn't possibly be all the same people after he is loosed. Some of those people that he deceived before he was bound would have been living before the time of Christ. These would have to be some of the rest of the dead who don't live again until after the thousand years are finished.

But in order for Ezekiel 39:29 to even be true, it means after God has already dealt with Gog and his multitude. The latter hasn't happened yet though. The former can then not already be true. The chronology is clear. Ezekiel 39:29 can't be fulfilled until Gog and his multitude have been dealt with first. But if you can show otherwise in Ezekiel 39, I'm at least willing to listen.

Another possible option: Ezekiel 39:1-20 is about Gog and magog attacking an Israel that is already in the land of Israel, making it future to Ezekiel 39:21-39.

In Ezekiel 39:21-29 notice " I will now restore the fortunes of Jacob"

Psalm 85:1 was written after Israel returned from exile
You showed favor to Your land, O LORD; You restored the fortunes of Jacob

Ending with the holy spirit being poured out.
Ezekiel 39:29 I will no longer hide my face from them, for I will pour out my Spirit on the people of Israel, declares the Sovereign Lord.”

Acts 2:17
“ ‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people.

Notice Gog is a Chief prince'
Just as michael the angel is one of the 'chief princes'

Daniel 10:13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.

I agree, but is it stated that Gog and Magog will attack twice in revelation?

I need to think on this some more, what you are proposing here. In general, I tend to think a lot of times we are too quick to answer one another. Which might indicate we are not actually taking the time to consider each others arguments. So for now I have no reply for this other than to say I need more time to think on what you are proposing.

Daniel 10:13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.

Ezekiel 38:2 Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal;

So now your saying that God being a Chief Prince is an Angel?

Not quite.

Your right the word Prince was used in both verses you quoted, but the difference is in the usage of those words.

Daniel 10:13
But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.

The Prince spoken of in this verse was an Angel.

PRINCE: Hebrew
H8269
שַׂר
śar
sar
From H8323; a head person (of any rank or class): - captain (that had rule), chief (captain), general, governor, keeper, lord, ([-task-]) master, prince (-ipal), ruler, steward.

H8323
שָׂרַר
śârar
saw-rar'
A primitive root; to have (transitively exercise; reflexively get) dominion: - X altogether, make self a prince, (bear) rule.

Ezekiel 38:2
Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal;

The Prince spoken of in this verse was a Human.

PRINCE: Hebrew
H5387
נָשִׂא נָשִׂיא
nâśı̂y' nâśi'
naw-see', naw-see'
From H5375; properly an exalted one, that is, a king or sheik; also a rising mist: - captain, chief, cloud, governor, prince, ruler, vapour.

H5375
נָסָה נָשָׂא
nâśâ' nâsâh
naw-saw', naw-saw'
A primitive root; to lift, in a great variety of applications, literally and figuratively, absolutely and relatively: - accept, advance, arise, (able to, [armour], suffer to) bear (-er, up), bring (forth), burn, carry (away), cast, contain, desire, ease, exact, exalt (self), extol, fetch, forgive, furnish, further, give, go on, help, high, hold up, honourable (+ man), lade, lay, lift (self) up, lofty, marry, magnify, X needs, obtain, pardon, raise (up), receive, regard, respect, set (up), spare, stir up, + swear, take (away, up), X utterly, wear, yield.

All you have managed to do is take two verses which use the same word PRINCE, and believing these words are the same when they are not.

The have very different definitions.
If you don't do the footwork to find out these simple things you end up in error, as you undoubtedly have.

Your whole Supposition of these events is wrong, and now your taking verses from all over the place and forcing them into your Supposition to make it work.

Acts 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Peter states he was living the in the last days. It appears the last days started during Peter's generation.

When do these last days end? Before the millenium, during the millenium, or after the millenium?

The last days in terms of the present evil age (Galatians 1:4) governed by the devil ends at the advent of the millennium, when righteousness reigns and all wickedness is suppressed with Christ's iron rod dominion over the nations:

"From his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron. He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty." (Revelations 19:15)

However, the last days could be extended in a broader context to include the absolute, eternal defeat of sin and death after Satan and all those he was allowed to deceive after the thousand years are thrown alive into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:7-10).

Before this Jesus will reign for a thousand years without opposition, and even after Satan emerges to deceive the nations a final time he will not oppose Christ sufficiently to even enter the city gates where the saints dwell (again, Revelation 20:7-10), so the last days could be declared officially concluded at this time since there will never again be tribulation or distress for God's people.

When the Gospel is preached to the ends of the earth. There are still hundreds of unreached unengaged people groups. Our mission is not finished.

How do you know that the "Ends of the Earth" didn't refer to the known World of that time, and Paul did Preach unto all the known World of that time.

Your applying Scripture with the knowledge of 2,000 yrs. of history behind you and what we believe to be more knowledge than they had.

But when they heard those words form Jesus mouth, did they think, there will be hundreds of Nations around the World who have never heard of Jesus, deep in the Jungles of the Amazon, or in the Northern reaches of Siberia, no they didn't, mainly because they didn't even know the World as a Globe and they were only on one little spot on that Globe.

We cannot apply our knowledge of today to what was understood at that time and expect to come to a logical conclusion of understanding.

To the people of that time, Rome was the known World, the uttermost ends of the Earth.

Do you think they understood there would be three more different types of people with three different types of skin, with completely different types of physical features?

Those were the last days before Jerusalem was punished as described in Matt 24 and Rev. The last days of the old covenant. That ended in 70AD.

We are in the new covenant now.

Paul wrote that the gospel HAD BEEN preached to the world. Then the end of the Jewish covenant came and the destruction of that system and judgement on Jerusalem. They didn’t mean every last man, woman and child. The meant the world as they knew it and it was sufficient. The end of mosaic Judaism came and Christians were enough to spread to the world.

Yet the end has not come. I speak to Christ's words not Paul, it is possible their context was different. Jesus is well know to speak in layered riddles, with what is received being one thing and what he actually means being another. I see Christ speaking to both the direct audience and the further audiences that read his words because he is Christ and he is able to be that good.

It's difficult to tell. Are these "the last days" of the world, or the last days of the old testament age?
There are two days (2000) in the church age. Then we have the Kingdom age or the 1,000 year reign of Christ when we well rule and reign with Christ for 1,000 years. We are told that judgement begins with the House of God and then God will Judge: "them that obey not the gospel of God". Then there will be a new Heavens and a new Earth and a New Jerusalem (Rev21)
