It's only been a month since she's gone after 52 years together. I stare at my wedding ring and think 'what does this mean now?' I'm in no rush to remove it but I am curious about how others have dealt with/deal with this symbol of commitment.

I hope you're feeling better3 years and 2 months. mine is off now temporarily because i have lost enough weight that the ring easily slides off my finger, and I have been sick for 3 going on 4 weeks and don't want to accidently have it slide off and me not be aware.
so i put it in a safe spot next to his remberance altar, and it will stay there until i am well again and can have it resized.
my hand feels empty.
I am finally, thank you for asking.I hope you're feeling better
I'm happy for you and thankful to God that you're feeling better; bless you!I am finally, thank you for asking.
my daughter came to help me on the road back to health, and with her she brought a set of clear plastic ring sizer's. I slipped one over my wedding band and it took up enough space so that my ring can now stay securely on my finger.
So praise God, the ring is back where it belongs!
For me it is six months since I lost my wife of 26 years. I loved being married to her and I can't imagine ever not wearing my wedding ring. I keep hers on a chain around my neck along with a cross. The way I see it I'm still married to my wife. We just have to spend some time apart for a while. It's only been a month since she's gone after 52 years together.
