  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

im close to 3 months, and im a terribly impatient person, and i was wondering when you could find out what it is...i know i cant find out now, but i want to find out as soon as i can. i aslo have to write a personal narrative for my Sr. portfolio and im wanting to write it about being a pregnant teen, and if i could find out what it is before i write it i could title it "Waiting on Taylor", or Clayton...depending on what the sex is.

It depends on your baby, I had a US for DD and still didn't know what she was, though DS told me she was a girl, so we were pretty confidant. (if you can't see anything interesting in the US it is often a girl)

This time we got a 'money shot' so we know it is a boy, but there is still a chance the US is wrong. I was 19 weeks this time.

I think your baby shows the outside signs around 4 months, not sure which week of it though.

You can tell a lot more if your ultrasound is with an ultrasound technician than if it's with your regular doctor. They are specially trained, and do a much more thorough examination of the images.

I think 3 1/2 -4 months is typical for feeling movement, though if you are really still and paying very close attention, you might feel a tiny flutter before then.

we found out it was a girl during an ultrasound at 16 weeks, although i actually started feeling her move before then, around 12-14 weeks. according to the doctor, she's incredibly active, though, so i wouldn't count on feeling any defined kicks until sometime around 20-25 weeks.

Are you going to get married soon? I forget. Blue, I was pretty paranoid about that happening. I had three ultrasounds by three different people and they all said he was a boy so I felt pretty safe. But I still told my husband, honey if its a girl you have to go to Walmart and buy something pink to take her home in. And we didn't take the tags off of anything until after the birth so we could return/exchange. But we didn't tell anyone the name was had picked until after birth, we just called him "little guy."
