Repentance, calling on His Name and asking forgiveness are not the same thing. They are all separate.

And that has nothing to do with being Jew or Gentile.

When a Gentile calls on the Lords Name
TO REPENT of his SINS....

SPECIFICALLY ...
What SINS, is the Gentile asking the Lord to Forgive?

God Bless,
SBC

All Sins , Christ died for all sin .

If you believe that Jesus Christ is Lamb of God who died for your sins and God has raised him from the dead you are saved and go to heaven .

Nothing more , don't try to stop sinning before you come to Christ it's impossible .

You would have to ask the gentile you speak of. I assume all of their sins.

So, what does a Gentile do....?
Say Lord....I am sorry for my sin.
Say Lord....Forgive me for my sin.

And then when you ask the Gentile, what SIN did the Lord forgive you for....

They say....um...all of them.
THEY don't know WHAT sin the Lord forgave them for?

My question was
Specifically what SINS, is the Gentile asking the Lord to forgive them for?

If you are a Gentile, and asked the Lord to forgive your sins....what was your specific sins He forgave?

God Bless,
SBC

In order to repent from sin, we need to first know what sin is

Sin is transgression of the law(Torah)

We are called to turn from breaking God's commandments

You can find God's commandments in the Torah (first 5 books of the Bible)

The wrath of God was announced to a sinful world. With light comes accountability "Justice to the nations" but also hope (good news) for those who repent and call on the Lord. A balanced message.

Acts 17 The unknown god is the One true God and Pauls sermon
In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with mena 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

The message of salvation is the one and same for all nations.
Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

So what does repentance mean to you?

God Bless,
SBC
In the OT, the word is teshuvah. In the NT it is metanoia. Metanoia means to change your mind, and teshuvah means to turn around and go back. So biblical repentance is a decision to think differently and to change one's actions.

There were Gentiles amongst the Israelites at Mount Sinai & throughout the wilderness, and throughout history. Gentiles who dwell amongst and are a part of God's people are held to the same standard.

We are joined to God's nation, Israel, through the Messiah. Paul writes about this in Ephesians

The Torah(law) was given to Israel to be an example to the Gentiles and to show the world how to live.

The Messiah was obedient to God's commands, and we are called to live like him. That, to me, would mean we should do the same, whether we were born as a Gentile or an Israelite

Sin is still sin with the light of the gospel message comes accountability.
"Justice to the nations" God was no longer willing to overlook the sin and ignorance of many false Gods as He did in the past. His salvation is sent to all nations a balanced message of Hope and wrath for the ungodly. The choice is mans to make what path they will continue on. 9 of the 10 commandments are still valid as Jesus is clearly not enforcing the sabbath which had to do with an absence of all work as even meals had to be prepared in advance. If one keeps Jesus command to love one another as he has loved they are in fulfillment of all the commandments. It was also expressly given to abstain from sexual
immorality.

“Don’t you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? 18But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them. 19For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. 20These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”

The father about Jesus
"Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations.

I would agree the law was given to Israel......Hebrews, Jews.

Sin is anything not done in faith and anything that misses the mark of God's glory.
