I also don't see anything wrong with that picture but wouldn't like it if it was a picture of you kissing or whatever; not because of jealousy but because I'd feel like I was invading privacy or something even though you did choose to display it publicly.

No, we were not a couple when the picture was taken. It was on the first day that we met.

The reason we're even "touching cheeks" is because he's about 7 inches taller than me, and since I was the one taking the picture, it was easier for him to get on my level and close so the shot was taken.

I don't even know why I'm explaining this. I don't even know you Keen. Why are you so worked up about this?

I don't wonder if they are single, I wonder who it is. It's obviously someone that has been here before, that has found the need to make another name in order to post what they feel they can't under their regular name. Either that or it's a newbie that is very bitter.

Although by the way this person writes. I have a feeling it's a person named Neil. Wild guess though.

Okay Keri, this has probably gone on for too long now, and probably should never have been made public. I have not read everything posted since I went to bed last night but I have seen some of the stuff written by the user 'keen' and while I don't want to use the 'T' word, I would say that you gave too much weight to a random email from an unknown user.

I respectfully ask you to have this thread closed before it bursts out into full blown board disruption.

I like to do things on my own accord, thank you.

I'm not big on people telling me what to do... obviously. LOL.

BUT I don't mind the discussion. I just too into account all the opinions and have no need for the thread to be open anymore.

Aren't there lots of threads in the SF that are "full blown board disruptions" ? This isn't new.

I was not telling you what to do but giving you a suggestion. Your response speaks volumes. In case you have not noticed, I take my own advise too. I had a thread closed yesterday for fear of board disruption. I did it for the benefit of the forum. If I wanted to leave it open and let it become a free for all brawl/slanging match, I could have done that, couldn't I?

Okay, maybe you missed this particular post (copied below for your attention)...take it seriously. Her sentiments seem to be shared by many. I am trying to help you. You don't seem to realize that by starting so many threads, along with Kirk, you are contributing to what people are griping is the board 'hijack' by 'couples'. How many threads have you seen me start in the couples forum or marriage ministry forum? Yet I post there all the time. It is the cumulative effect of all your threads and people associating you to being in a relationship that is fueling the board disruption. Are you not able to comprehend that or are you thinking it is just relating to this thread?

You can of course, refuse to take my suggestions and keep starting threads about anything that comes to your head here, about PMs which should be kept private (even if they are from trolls)...just keep posting anything and everything. What do I know? Except that I have been back for all of five minutes and from what I have heard, you've been posting a little too many threads that the singles here can handle. Have you been listening and paying attention? Again, let me reiterate that no one is asking you to leave. By all means keep contributing to threads, but to start up a thread just because you got a bizarre PM? OTT in light of the recent happenings in this forum.

Yeah, take a break. Don't end up snappy.

This is what I would have felt about the avatar when I was still single:

Seeing your avatar does bother me and I wish you wouldn't use that picture for your avatar. It reminds me of all the mushy threads you made when you and Luther first got together (even seeing the titles of those threads (not just reading them) greatly bothered me). The avatar, especially when paired with the little love smiley and the "In love with ____!!!!" that is usually under you and Kirk's screen names makes me feel very sad and wish that the Singles Forum still felt safe.

I dunno, it's just something to think about. Personally, I'm not too fond of people having mushy things in their signatures, avatars, or the space under their name if they're going to be posting in the Singles Forum often.

I don't see why people are making such a huge deal of couples posting threads, polls, and posts in general.

Afterall, I'm still SINGLE. I'm not married, therefore I am single.

And about keeping PM's private... I disagree. Most of you (including the sender of the PM) know a little bit about me and my personality and one thing that you all should know by now is that I'm OPEN and at time brutally honest.

Here's a disclaimer of the future:

If there is something you would like kept private during an IM or PM conversation, then tell me. I promise to keep it private.

Otherwise, I have a tendency to open my big mouth and posts random topics that I probably shouldn't kind of spur of the moment. Mkay?
