If you don't want to deal with opening anything in RealOne at all, just install the Matroska Full pack (or the RealMedia-specific pack at the bottom of the page) - it comes with a RealMedia DirectShow plugin so you can watch any RealMedia content (audio or video) in WMP or any other DirectShow-based player. You still have to have RealOne installed on the system though, but you won't get those pop-ups, etc. since you never have to open RealOne itself. I also think I have RealVideo associated to Media Player Classic, if memory serves me right.Stryper said:real one is the worst music player i have on my system. all of those popup notifications on the toolbar and all of the "switch to premium" bs just turn me off.
i guess they need the extra money after losing 24million dollars last year and a couple million in the past 3 weeks.
If you've got RealAlternative installed as well you don't even have to have RealOne on your system, but I've never fully trusted RealAlternative because I seem to remember having problems with video lag while using it, so I took it out.
