IE. I've tried opera, mozilla... IE still takes the cake.

I use IE, but when that crashes, I use Opera.

Oh and to whomever asked about Trillian... Gaim is better than trill....

I've been using Trillian for about a year, how is Gaim any better than Trillian?

Would appreciate your input.

Yes. It's not reached a final version yet, but there are stable, bug-free releases - rather like the free version of Trillian I believe. It's open-source and free.

I've never used it. Opera for IRC, MSN Messenger default client, sorted.

At the moment is it Mozilla's Firebird, but any browser that adheres to the W3C standards is okay with me.

*note* That is just about any browser but IE.

I was a long time Opera user on both Windows and then Linux. Just today I started using Galeon and it is great. It has the features I liked in Opera and so much more.
