It would seem, that our Sue [Rebornfree]
is having some thunder & Lightning down her way
the rumbles from the thunder has made it up this far
and we have had the odd sprinkle of juice from the skies
where we, are presently at the outer limits of the storm cloud
North of Sue and my friend Chris down there in Cheshire

We had big mosquitos still bombarding us on our walk early Saturday am, but it was nearly 9am! But I was visiting no.1 son and family, and they live right off Tampa Bay. I've lived in FL my whole life, but I don't know for sure if mosquitos breed in brackish water. Are the swamps there brackish?

Btw, I love LA. I've only ever visited once, but it was for a week-long seminar. The taxi driver was a delight, telling me all about bayou life growing up in the more rural swamp regions. Of course there was pre-Katrina Bourbon street, wonderful, wonderful music and food.

It was lovely today HOT and sunny
I didnt check the thermometers > I was too busy!!

I finished the cladding of the stud beside the side door
and gave it all a first coat of Red Cedar wood preservative

Mary and I were out shopping at the Salford Shopping Precinct yesterday
and whilst shopping in Wilkinsons for a bolt for the side-door
I notice a wonderful 'looking' companion suite
~ two chairs, separated by a small glass table with glass shelf below
and a hole, to accomodate a parasol stand, in the middle

A little 'bushed' from the walking... I sat in one of the seats
whilst Mary, went to the till to purchase a few items she needed
I saw Mary making her way to the door [and, looking, for me]
so I went over to join her and drew her attention to this suite
She 'liked' it and so I bought it... there and then
a young man [sales staff]
was instructed to carry it for us to the taxi rank
some 150 yards... and due to the bulky nature of the packaging
was, by no means any kind of mean-feat
So Mary foist a £5 'tip' on him..despite his repeated-refusal
LOL... she gave him NO-CHOICE [rofl]

I have been too busy today to erect it [flat-packed]
but pics here when done

Hot here. I was just out with the dogs, and the cloud cover makes the heat more welcome, more warming. So, we stayed out much longer than usual. Looks like rain, though, in the hours to come. Typical sea-breezes clash that we always find ourselves right in the middle of.

the sun having dipped below
the tops of the trees on the carpark, to northwest of our back garden
The forecast for tomorrow is 14.C -17.C with rain
but... we will see if that forecast is correct, come-tomorrow
It has been a lovely-day here today PTL
