I've just been outside as you asked the question Dave. To my surprise it is snowing! We had a few flurries this afternoon, but it didn't settle. It seems to be lying now though. Be interesting to see what it will be like in the morning! Layers of clothing going on!

believe it or not, we had a record high of 84 degrees F on Saturday!

yep!!! here also!!!

at @ 2am before I went to bed it was -2.C
when I let the dogs out this-morning after 9am it was -4.C
and is now 0.C ...
The sky, initially clear
was then laced with jet-exhaust trails, which have now become diffused
and covered the lovely blue sky with a hazy film

When this, then reflects the sun's warmth away from us
the temperature here on the ground, may not rise any higher today

Yep! COLD here. The coldest yet I think! Supposed to get warmer at the weekend (I'd never thought I'd refer to temps of +4.C as warm!)
