Cold, 29F/-1C here, an Alberta Clipper is passing to the North so we're getting a bit of snow from that. Lows 7F/-12C estimated tonight, with snow showers.

I understand we may get some warming this weekend.

Winter has returned after our January thaw.
Single digit temps with below zero wind chills, and a Nor'easter will be hitting the East Coast tomorrow evening into Wednesday (expecting @ 8 inches).

We're getting an Artic blast and 2-4 inches of snow tonight into Tuesday morning. High 12 and dropping to -2 by Tuesday night.

Snowing here, may have up to 4-6 inches, and colder temps. in the teens today, colder tonight; more snow in the forecast for Fri. and Sun.

We've had snow, now it's cold. Chicago hasn't got above single-digits F all day and now it's into the icebox for sure tonight. Last night an unexpected wind-shift dumped extra inches of lake-effect snow on Chicago and its near suburbs.

Had to re-route this morning. A run last night took me to Indianapolis, the normal route home from there is up Interstate 65 to Westbound I-80/94. Not today though. Lake effect snow had that idea shut down before even getting started, so I took I-74 West to I-57, then North from there. Clear skies from the time I crossed the Indiana/Illinois line on I-74. Cold though, Indianapolis had a high today of 15F, sinking to below 0F from there all day.

Warm, for a Canadian winter lol. 4C with a wind chill of 0C ( 39F with a windchill of 33 F). I'm fortunate enough to live in a part of Canada with the mildest weather; for this, I'm very grateful.

Expect to warm up considerably tomorrow up to near 40F but just a short relief.

High on Sunday to be -15F with a low of -30F and wind chills near -50F

Two recent hail 'showers' in past three hours and now thunder too

Sky, is thick with dark [black] cloud so no lightning is visible
Temps' must be just 2.C or 3.C.... it is so cold and TOO WET to pop outside to check thermometers
