Yes, its exactly as you described here as well. I don't know what part of the UK you are in, but I am in southern England (Hertfordshire), and the weather here is now turning noticeably colder after a mild October. Autumn is truly upon us! (That's the "Fall" to you guys in the USA).

Hi JB - the same here. We had a brief colder snap, but it's back to milder temperatures again. In reply to your previous post I'm in Cheshire (but originated in the south).

Buffalo NY had six feet of snow! Up here a few inches, but some of it had melted now.

Windy here this morning after rain all night. Wind from the north brought light snow - wet and heavy. A dreary day.

Wow - -77 degrees, even here in the mountains today - love it - feel like I'm out in Panamint Valley, CA! The sun goes down in 2 hours, then...watch out. Snow here by Wednesday!

Well, my brothers and sisters in Christ, today we got to 77 degrees here in the Maryland mountains and Panamint Woods, where I have my homestead. Gosh, I felt like I was in the wonderful CA desert in November - we were as warm here as at Panamint Springs, CA! But......

Wednesday's forecast is for MUCH colder temperatures and 6-8 inches of snow!! Now, that makes me feel I am high in the CA Panamints, somewhere in the upper elevations of Surprise Canyon.

Let me know what your conditions are, especially if you are Midwest, because I know it's coming my way!

I am in the Midwest. The storm system cleared out overnight and it was clear and sunny early this morning, but colder. It is overcast now and likely to remain so.

 

[Panamint]

Overcast here in the MD mountains this morning - it has that "snow look" outside. Forecast is for it to start tonite and continue thru tomorrow afternoon. My homestead in Panamint Woods is "in elevation" over 1,000 feet, so I expect more snow that in surrounding valleys. Most likely seems to be 8+ inches. Will keep you updated....
