We've had a couple of small rains over the last day or so. We are beginning to think that we might have normal rains this summer. That will be good news for everyone if we do (the drought is broken). Thank you Lord.

It barely made it to 72F today under clouds, right now it's 68F, dropping to the mid 50sF. Rain to the South of us (Villa Park, Illinois) seems to be moving this way if Weatherbug isn't pulling a fast one. Tomorrow, partly sunny and low 80sF for a high.

Well it was threatening to storm here, but didn't A number of miles to the south, Shawnee, Oklahoma got hit hard by a tornado. A sister from our church who lives very close to it called us earlier to advise that she had suffered a broken window in her apartment and had lots of hailstone dents in her car, but nothing worse. Give God glory for her and pray for those who lost everything including their homes.

I watched a tornado going thru Oklahoma today....the news is still on alert there....saw the thing 2 miles wide...live coverage at the time....then, when I first saw it...wow! Unbelievable.
