CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Humid but cooler due to the cloudy/rainy conditions.
It is nice....feels like fall;40's at night, 70 by day the past few days

We've had a few nice days 70's and no rain. Today the hot and humid days start in again.

It is very humid and muggy feeling, but cooler. It's kinda cloudy and we may get some more rain.

It's 74F right now, and we've been having light rain on and off all day. The restoration of our lawn from the freeze is coming along nicely, and the rain couldn't come at a better time. It also cooled things down.

Guess it's my turn to "ditto". It's 87 now, sunny and hot. A good day to not be having to drive that van, it's hot enough to cook a turkey back in the rear. I know, I'm the turkey that gets cooked back there most days.

It's 75F right now with on and off heavy rain. As it stands now, our family gathering will probably be inside. We're getting ready to go right now. It's possible that our family fireworks will be rained out - we'll see. Regardless, we needed the rain, so I give thanks for it.

What's going on? I told all of you just the other day how it has not rained here in weeks, and that very day it began to rain, and then some more that night. Then a little the next day, and today, well, it looks like there will be no fireworks because it's raining!
