CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thunderstorms earlier this morning. Chance of more the rest of the day, with a predicted high of 83F.

They've been promising storms, but so far nothing. I see a bit of dirty weather out near DeKalb on the Weather Channel, but nobody's guaranteeing anything.
Presently 74 and sunny, highs only to 78 if the forecast holds (they've been wrong about the temps every day so far, no reason to believe it won't get hotter).

Praying....Warming to the 80's; the problem is actually deep haze from smoke coming out of Quebec (raging wildfires)
It is affecting the air quality throughout the northeast.
Please pray for them up there; safety for all, and control of the fires ASAP
We are hot and sunny as usual. Our area is beginning to need rain.

We had the heaviest rain I've seen in a long time yesterday afternoon. Today started out looking like more rain, but, turned sunny and warm. It's 83 F now.

I'll probably know for sure about the rain tonight. The alarm sounds at the ungodly hour of 2:00 AM, by then we should have rain if it's going to do it.

Thunderstorms again this morning. Some critter seeking a dry place to wait them out has gotten into our dryer vent, or wall. We have a call in to mainenance to get it out.
