CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

that does sound like a return to winter... of course, I like winter...but I seem to be in the minority! You must remember, though, that here we have mild winters and brutal summers.Gone from bad to worse
Now we have accumulating snow and sleet with the high winds.
We could get up to 6 in by monday
I was so ready for SPRING!

Mid 40s and cloudy. Mildewdebeast gets dried out, finally.
Side note: I picked up "Mildewdebeast" from my Dad, he used the phrase on a day when it had rained every day for better than a week and our basement was showing signs of leaking. It was foggy during that time too, as I remember.

We have hints of spring here also, and I'm looking forward to it. Here the days are generally in the 50sF, and the nights are in the 30sF. We'll probably have a couple more freezes, but things are looking like spring, one of my favorite times of the year.
