Yesterday reached 92, without a cloud in the sky. Today is supposed to be another hot one. Morning low was 72.

A cold front / squall line passed through at noon, and it is now in the 60's with drying air

We are in a severe thunderstorm warning until 8pm EST; with a strong storm approaching now (was 78 and sunny earlier)

The severe storms passed through here (damaging winds to our south;power lines down), and the temps dropped 20 degrees
Sunny and cool now in the 50's

Last night changed in a heartbeat from warm, breezy and sunny to heavy thunderstorms. But, today was back to the mid-70's (F), with a soft wind.

Michael, you got the storms we missed last night. They went South of the Chicago area.

Today, it's been sunny warm and windy. Temps made the 80s, and the wind gave me a bit of a tussle for control of the van on the Interstate.

It's been a lovely week here in NZ so far.....plenty of warm sunshine by day and cool clear nights.

Rainy this morning, then sunny this afternoon. Windy, rear doors on the magnets again.

(The big Sprinter vans have magnetic catches on the side of the van to hold the doors open. I use these because the wind overpowers the straps that I would usually use, two pairs or straps have been broken in extreme winds. The straps are only made of steel, and there's no contest when high winds grab those huge doors and force them open past the straps normal range.)

Cooling trend coming, with a low last night of 52 F. That's nothing much; but, by Saturday night we're suppossed to be down to 38!
