We made it to 100 today. Hopefully it will be the last we see of it. 91 tomorrow, then the extended forecast shows 80s through the first week of September with an upper 70s thrown in! I'm sure that will change, but finally some cooler weather. And rain in the forecast for the same period, which we desperately need. We've had only .11 of an inch for August. My garden finally wilted.

In NW OHIO today as of 7:45 am ... It's OVERCAST with a chance of RAIN later this afternoon so I am hoping that will wait till after I get home from running my ERRANDS with my daughter ... so we shall see what happens !!

Yesterday we made it to 95 although our outside thermometer read 110! Today it's overcast, expecting rain thermometer reads 85 so it's probably around 80

Oh. I'm the opposite. I can barely tolerate hot weather. As a child in FL & no A/C, I spent most of the summer days on the cement floor in my bedroom. We had no TV so I did a lot of reading.

Indian summer. A little above average heat wise. Nights are cooling. Fire season. No rain insights. But a cloud may appear about the size of a hand and rain could come to end this years drought.

Southwest Ohio.No rain for almost 3 weeks, daytime temperatures have been steady in high 80s low 90s (F) . The weather people are predicting rain and a drop to the 70s middle of the coming week.

My wife's van had a leaky brake caliper. Our mechanic was booked up, so I decided to do it myself. I spent several hours out in our weather, clothes stuck to me from sweating. I managed to tough it out to completion; while my wife was helping me bleed the brake line I announced my retirement from shade tree mechanic activity.
