We've had some very hot (for the UK!) weather recently. Last night there was a dramatic thunderstorm, with sheet lightening and plenty of rain (after I'd watered the garden! LOL!). Today warm and sunny; tonight comfortable.

Some amazing pictures there Dave, especially the forked lightening. I saw sheet lightening, with the storm was directly overhead - something I'd not experienced for years!

It has been raining, thundering and lightning for 2 weeks here in Florida. Forecast is for the same for all of next week also. We want to go to the beach!!!

It was fairly warm (ie: comfortable, for T-shirts only) earlier
However a haziness (and clouds) have covered the sky and a cool breeze is 'in-operation'

I strimmed the front lawn (yesterday) and set up a bamboo retaining-frame
around the rose "David"
before pruning-back unwanted growth and a dead stem
Clearing away, the clippings has to await energy return
(afraid, I have overdone, my-abilities) serves me right for persisting

Maybe, tomorrow and maybe Saturday

Well Oct 12/15. I live in North Central Florida. Getting a little cool mornings and evenings.. still plenty of mosquitoes tho! We always like this time of year as a break from the oppressive heat. Not looking forward to winter.. still too cold for my taste!
