Still fairly mild but rain today.

Same again today..... all the way beyond 'Longsight' and-back (for Mary's treatment)
up at 6.30am, on our way at 7.45am and back after 5.00pm (long day, just sat around :( )

Took a birthday card to Granddaughter at Blackely, (pronounced BLAKE-LEE)
and traffic was slow both ways, because of a fallen tree in the road
they must have had a gust up the valley sheesh, it was at-least 7 feet around, at the base

That tree met its destiny Ithink. We have water oaks around here. Not very deep roots they spread out iinstead. Never know when one will topple. How often do you have to take Mary for treatment? All day thing for you all. Hope u stop somewhere along the way to get a frosty ( kind of mushy ice drink) they are very refreshing and come in different flavors, if Mary's up to it

Every other week UNLESS, she is too unwell to tolerate the meds
We also have-to attend during the weeks in-between
~for a review(?)
Where they weigh her and test her bloods (levels)
Presently, her potassium is low, and she has extra meds to 'top her up'
The previous potassium pills were massive and like alka seltzer (fizzy in water)
They would bang away in Mary's tubes very painfully
This week, they are trying some capsules, in the hope they will be better tolerated

It can take Mary several days to 'feel-right' after chemo treatments
We do not STOP OFF 'anywhere' ...
when we leave the hospital, Mary just needs to get HOME again
The mere suggestion of staying-overnight REALLY FREAKS HER OUT

:prayer:

Mmmmmmmm, sounds good. Is it getting cool there? Sunny and warm here. I hate cold weather. I'd rather sweat than freeze anyday! North central Florida

It looks and feels cold but it's only in the 60's. Not so cold really. I like cool weather as I am from West Texas were it really got COLD in the winter. Here not so much although the last couple years it seems colder.

Sorry last thread messed up...we'll get a dusting of snow which is gone when the sun comes up. Its been years tho. Did gave some snow and ice 1985 Ithink. I ddrove to work but was almost alone cause people raised here didn't know how to drive in it. Was funny but they sent me home cause hardly anyone was there. Don't remember if I got paid for my valor but got honorable mention with a few others. Most people thought i was just stupid!!!! Maybe so in retrospect

oh yes I LIKE :D

Sadly, it rarely lasts beyond the following day :D

I find it amazing that 3-4 inches of snow, can be blamed for so many traffic accidents
When I was a lad, 9 inches to a foot deep, was amazing
and where winds have caused drifts to 2 or 3 feet, we learned why folks in other countries use snowshoes

When I was in my teens, I used to accompany a family friend making deliveries to farms
and rural homes, in Somerset and southern England
some of those lanes would contain driven snow @ 8 or 9 feet (not passable) until thaw
