It's 91F here today with a heat index of 108F in Central Oklahoma. It's supposed to cool off to the 60s tonight, and we have a good chance for rain. As usual, we're praying for the rain.

Otherwise, was 73f early, 94f now @ 2pm light breeze partly cloudy. One of those lazy days that needs a nap.

It is fair, slight breeze, temp upper 80's F at present. High will be 90F.

Here what it looks like

Started going to South Padre Island with my folks as a kid. Went about oh...15 or more times by the time my kids were pre teens. Piddled around in the Mexican border towns. Dad and I sat in chairs and watched my mom and now ex wife as they shelled. Sand dollars were getting harder to find and were prized by the ladies at that area.
Southern Missouri boy that learned how to slow down to that beach vibe and just enjoy the whole atmosphere.
Surf fishing a little. Jetties and piers a little more. Playing in the water. Resting. Then resting from that rest, haha.
In my young days you found many interesting things on the beach because so few stayed there and didn't go combing early.
I may tent camp this winter down on , I think it's north Padre on the National Seashore. IF i think it's a decent atmosphere of people, haven't ever been there. Just got ran down out of the front range of the Rockies by colder than expected nights for me and my tent.
You have a nice day and remember most of us want to be there at least 2 months a year.

Still just 76. Low humidity and light northern breezes. Man its nice. My old neighbor lady told me at dusk yesterday..."it's cold out here." ? ! ah....IDk.
Any points of interest for a tent camper outside of the Kaimichis in the middle and eastern part of your state? Always looking for nice places to camp in the fall or winter.

Started out in the low 70s, a blue bird day it was, noon found a partly cloudy sky and ~ 94f. By late evening I could feel the dry air with big clouds that gave spotty showers. The cold front tonight.

Any points of interest for a tent camper outside of the Kaimichis in the middle and eastern part of your state? Always looking for nice places to camp in the fall or winter.

NE Oklahoma is beautiful and has too many nice camping places to count. Do a Google search for NE Oklahoma camping, and you should get many ideas. I must add that many of the State Parks are very nice and have reasonable prices.

We've been praying for rain and got 4 inches afternoon before last. We needed the rain, so we'll give thanks, but some areas flooded.

Not too good here. I'm around 75mi due East of where Hermine is making landfall...on the stinky side of it. Though a full fledged cat 1, shouldn't be too bad for me with the direction it's headed, but for those in the path, if you pray, this might be a good time.

Just a lot of rain, and some mild gusts. They say the heavy sustained winds and gusts will come a few hours from now for my area, but I have my doubts. As expected, it's just been downgraded to a Tropical Storm @ 70mph winds, but still just 4 mi below hurricane strength so no one is out of the woods yet.

Today was a great weather. it was cloudy, no rain more wind.
Tonight at 8:34pm Fiji time on Friday, it was extremely cold.
I have a feeling it will be a good, sunny day tomorrow.
