My wife is sensitive to heat, so our AC is set to 69F. I'm smart and try to keep my wife happy.

WOW! - what a weekend for rain. We got 2 inches on Saturday and 6 to 10 inches Sunday (yesterday). We have flooding in numerous areas of our city, and many people had to be evacuated. Our neighborhood is on high ground, so we've had limited problems. The flood gates are open on both of our main water supplies, so some of the flooded areas won't crest until Tuesday. Thankfully, we have no loss of life so far.

Today is 84F and gorgeous.

We've had more rain last night and this morning. Many parts of our city are already flooded from heavy rains. It's 91F right now, but the high humidity makes it feel like 105. We were also put under a tornado watch just minutes ago. That probably means more rain, but I don't know when.

We had some further sprinkles throughout the day
but beware the downpour that then, falls upon it

Not so warm, that one could exist very-long outdoors
and 'remain-comfortable' ~ in shirt sleeves for-example ( not JUST yet)

Things are beginning to get back to normal. The flood waters are receeding. The forecast is for high 90sF and low 100s for the next several days. It appears that we'll get a break from the heavy rains.

It's 92F here right now with a heat index of 105F. Our humidity is still pretty high from all of the recent rain.

In the early morning of the rising sun, the temp was a blistering 77f, and the humidity was so high a person could taste it. As the fury orb ascended the sky, the temp ascended explosively as well, to a baking 94f by 12 noon. At 1pm I could hear the thunder in the far NE. By 1:15 the high winds @ ~50-60 mph, and @ ~1:20 the rains came, the temp drops 20f to ~74f, and the rains came. I measured 1.25 inches in 20 mins. The winds abated, the rains slowed, the temps held steady. For a while it was quite sceery for the sceerdy cats, but for us bravehearts, it was exciting. We like thunder storms.
