I'd struggle with very hot weather too. The house is more comfortable in summer though as it can be cold in winter as its too old for cavity wall insulation.

Today temps due to rise to 30C in parts of UK. Good for drying curtains.

Very hot for the UK early in the week; I think it was in the 100s F, and there were some fires in the London area. Here, NW, hot and a bit humid. Cooler now, low 60s I think, with some breeze and rain earlier.
